They got it right for Burger King being last with fries. These guys changed their fries a few years back and made a big deal about it ....giving them out free to everyone. I think they suck. They should truly be looking into a new recipe. I love McDonald's fries, but my personal favorite are boardwalk fries.
LOL I still will do that a couple of times a year. BK needs to put some time into finding a great fry recipe. They could keep a lot of business because BK has them beat with burgers.I remember when I use to eat a lot of Fast Food. I like Burger King better for their Burgers, so I would run over to BK and get maybe a Whopper...then drive down the block to get McDonald Fries. @)
Personally I hate Burger King. It's not because their food is terrible it is just because they don't give a shit how they prepare it. I worked at Burger King when I was 15 and I used to make some bomb ass Whoppers and Chicken Sandwiches and such. So now the few times I visited BK my food has always been crap. Talking smashed ass burger with cheese scorched to the meat and wilted lettuce and soggy tomatoes with globs and globs of mayo. They have no standards like McDonalds. Nobody can ever say one McDonalds is worse than the other. That is because they have a template on how a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder should be made. Keep in mind that doesn't mean every McDonalds is clean or don't try to cut franchise costs and serve you old heat lamp food.

Nothing beats a Double-Double animal style, with animal style fries, and a neopolitan shake. I think In N Out should be #1, but I've never had 5 guys. Is 5 guys really better??????

Another 5 Guys just opened up in SoCal (Orange, CA). I gave it a shot a year or so ago when the one in Torrance opened up. Was okay but nothing near the hype that preceded it.
