IM sure you know this better then most since you bump threads up all the time.
But if you click offshore forum you will see that there are 159 pages.
Therx keeps all threads for 365 days.
That means there are only 159 pages of unique threads in the last 365 days.
I remember when they had over 600 pages in a year in the offshore forum.
You can only run people off for so long.
And whoever came up with the dumb idea to put all new posters on post review is the dumbest idea in history.
Talk about stupidity.
I have almost 30K post at this place and if they would have done that to me back then when I first started I would only 1 post at this place.
Nobody wants to be on post review.
And this is what they are doing to all new posters.
Talk about an easy way to kill off the chance of getting any new posters.
maybe so, but look at sports topics like post the most interesting stat you seen for the Super Bow, 1 reply.
No secret that I don't mind the off topic threads, I think they are needed as they require little thought and often spaw an interesting conversation or debate...
The offshore forum is not an indicator for how the site's doing. The sub forums are really jumping at times... Offshore has never even been close to the most popular area of the forum...
I replied to this thought in another thread.. and not sure who the source is of this or just speculation, but it is absolutely wrong. We have no time for this to be going on.
Post Review is extremely selective in and of itself....honestly its a pain in the ____ to go through what little posters we have on review and we would never add someone to the list of postings to weed through for no reason whatsoever man.. think about it all those post have to indeed be reviewed.. which takes time
