Depends on what you mean by relativly cheap.

I am sure you can find them all over the internet though.

Might be cheaper as game time gets closer. You know people whose teams get eliminated, or have unexpected bills come up, etc.

Good luck. Stadiums used now aren't that big and with the game in a city that hasn't had the game in ages your chances of getting "reasonable" tickets isn't good. If it is Cowboys-Chiefs forget it, this ticket will be next to impossible to get considering the fan bases and proximity to Houston. For the AFC Patriots might be your best bet for lower demand. I would guess a Rams-Patriots rematch might generate the lowest demand of all somewhat likely scenarios. Teams there for the first time in many years or ever are the hardest to get tickets for and that would describe a lot of teams in the hunt.

I was quoted a price of :
$1895 - Seats will be located in the upper level End Zones

up to:
$5895 - Seats will be located between the 35 yard lines lower or club

Man that is steep......

That is normal for before the game prices. Last year in San Diego the going rate was almost exactly the same and I read the local papers saying on game day the lowest people heard tickets going for was $1300 because a lot of Raider fans were around ready to snap up tickets if they came down to around $1000. Game day you might get a better price, but then again a few of the games in recent years could be worse. The Broncos-Packers game had no seats for sale, I mean NONE! I was outside the stadium with $1800 willing to buy a ticket and I swear I saw a total of about 5 or 6 tickets for sale out there. It was absolutely crazy, there were hundreds of fans out there looking for them and there were literally none for sale at any price. One guy did have tickets but he wanted $2600 each for tickets that were high end zone and no one had that much on them. Even up to half-time there was nothing out there for sale. So you take your chances now and get a seat lined up or you hope for a less attractive matchup. Word has it that tickets were going for face value or even a little less ($500) for the Rams-Patriots game. I think the face this year will be over $600 so plan accordingly...

I have participated in the annual NFL super bowl ticket lottery for the last 6 or 8 years. It is the lottery where a few average fans get the right to buy Super bowl tickets at face value. Every year I get the same postcard. Sorry to inform you....

hall of famers get 2 each, active nfl players get 2 each, active nfl coaches get 2 each, host team gets 1000, particpating teams get 10000 each for there fans, some teams stiff coaches and gm sales them. Sponsors and people with longstanding contracts get the rest, fan lottery gives out about 500.

Wildbills post is accurate, Rams-Pat game demand was down because of 9-11 and people could not catch planes because of bad weather, and was 2nd yr in a row for Rams.

This town is pumped up for the big game. I think the demand will be enormouse....

Wouldn't it be great for Bud Adams if the Titans were to play in the big game and win....man that would really piss off some Texan fans.

I have 6 tickets for sale, but will sell them probably to a few celebs coming to the game. It has been said that fewer celebs(non-sports) will show up at this game than ever.

If i still have the tickets in late Decemeber then I will let you know. I live in Houston as well

Houston, the land of good restaurants and strip clubs won't get celebs? You gotta be kidding, the town will get plenty. I hear more people than people think own a house and claim residence in Texas for tax purposes. Celebs will show up at any event.

While celebs get the publicity, the truth is that most of the ticket demand is driven by businesspeople. Taking your best clients to the game is popular and when you can write off half the amount and saddle shareholders with the rest of the cost, why wouldn't you do it? That is what sucks, 9 out of 10 of those guys couldn't care less about the game, they just like being in the scene. Real fans are so rare at the game and that is a real shame. The NFL should just set up some ultra-luxury boxes and facilities in the parking lots and give the business world and the celebs free reign out there, but let real fans who dream of seeing their team play for a title a chance to get into the game.

Wildbill;
Agree with you on that. There are going to be alot of celebs in town...hell most live here or in Dallas. Tickets are going for just as high there.
I would love to go to the big game, but dont mind going to a super bowl party and relaxing with freinds and family.
