After watching/listening to all the self righteous talk show hosts about how bad it was for that to happen; have come to realization that it is a well schemed/thought-out marketing plan to make the game pay-per view. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.

Those fxckin tits are phonier than half the guys on this board.

How CBS and the NFL could allow such an obscene half time show to entertain a family based event is goes beyond the pale....I can't get over the lack of talent and creativness...Janet Jackson has to dance around and show her tits with half dressed homos. Then you had a rapper talkin about drugs and shit..I don't know I needed subtitles...You can see the same shit at a local night club with dollar cover charge.

I have children and they were watching the halftime show and they too could not figure what the hell that halftime show was about.

It was a disgrace ... plain and simple.

You just don't do that in front of millions of people. I'm glad my child wasn't watching.

Each year it gets worse and people like MassMil., who don't care, are ruining this country.

The halftime show was simply a microcosm of what is shown every day to kids on MTV. Why is it OK for MTV but not for the Super Bowl. I'm no fan of the performers they showed but I think people are overreacting. Would have been nice to see some good musical talent -- the U2's, REM's of the world.

D2bets - You are right on. If you watch MTV practically every video has girls dancing with no clothes on. Atleast every Hip Hop video does.

I think the difference is that, since you know MTV is degrading and unappropriate for young kids, you can prevent your kids from watching it.

You don't expect to see it during the SuperBowl. At the very least, they need to put on a disclaimer informing the viewers that what they are about to see may be inappropriate for young viewers.

Americans sure know how to make a big deal out of nothing. If you only saw day-time tv shows in Brazil and the stuff that happens in Carnaval you'd stop complaining about a stupid breast...its for feeding babies afterall.

This is what I love about you, Patriot ... you show your concern for the children watching and the bad influence the halftime show may have had on them, while spouting off about 'half dressed homos.' Certainly Janet Jackson will go down as the worst of the two evils.

(If anyone had the same feed I had, CBS veered away from it so fast that I doubt little children would even have noticed.)

If they did notice, i'm sure they will be corrupted for life (or until puberty) and will not be able to spend like a good capitalist.

X..You loving anything about me makes my heart soar....Look I personally don't object to anything that went on at the halftime, and have personally paid good money to see such acts. However, I think there is a time and a place for anything and everything...If people dance around in assless chaps right around time I'm about to eat...their going to have to put up with the remarks like "half dressed homos" Everybody is for "in your face additude ecxept when its back at ya....it comes with the territory.
What bothers me is that you have Billion dollar conglomertates like CBS and the NFL come up with such talent less and uncreative themes for such a major event to be showed world wide...P.didy talent less stupid ass lyrics, same wit Kid rock, and Janet Jackson tit...welcome to America.
X...How about dem Pats!!!

Janet Jackson is one of my favourites, but I agree that this was over the top (albeit unintentional if she is to be believed.)

Screw the Pats. I had them at -6.5 and I'm not remotely impressed.
