2017 SUPER BOWL
The Wynn Race & Sports Book, Las Vegas Nevada

102Atlanta Falcons +3《$1,000 - 909.09》
102Atlanta Falcons +135 《$250 - $337.50》

No need to wait to make a wager and equally no reason to discuss the damn game for 2 weeks boys. Those who are confident with a particular side, as I am, have already paid the book and have tickets in hand.

I agree with you Winners are Grinners.

People will spend days trying to find reasons to put their hard earned money on the Patriots.

If they would just listen to you and I they would save themselves alot of headache haha!

Playing devil's advocate... we all said the same thing when the Pats beat the mighty "Greatest Show on Turf" as 14 pts underdog. And when the lowly Giants beat the undefeated/record-breaking Pats with Randy Moss.
Point is... high flying offensive teams may not do that well in SB against great defense. And we all aware Bill B is a defensive genius.

@ PeePee (I like the name <><>)

New England has a great defense? Please tell me you're either still hung over from yesterday or your just kidding with me. I'm here to tell ya there are 32 teams in the NFL and the all mighty, public loving team such as the Patriots were dead last, 32nd, in the league this year in strength of schedule. Please name 1 top tier quarterback they played against this season. Let me answer that for you..... Maybe 1 or arguably 2. Here are the quarterbacks that they faced this season. Palmer, Tannehill, Osweiler x2, Taylor x2,Whitehurst, Dalton, Jones, Wilson, Kaepernick, Fitzpatrick x2, Goff, Flacco, Siemian, Moore, Roethlisberger. Really?

18 games for the Patriots and a whopping 4 were playoff teams and a whopping 5 teams that they have played had a regular season winning record. If you are telling me the Patriots have a top tier defense I don't like you anymore haha. I'm kidding. I am here to tell ya that Atlanta has the better defense and by far the better offense with more weapons.

This is why I have said their is no reason to talk about this for days leading up to the big game. Put your money on Atlanta and make sure you take me on a date with your winnings.

w-thumbs!^

NE = #1 scoring D... #4 yard.
You tell me? I only go by stats, not opinion.
You play what's on your schedule. And don't forget, Pats was "projected" toughest schedule at beginning of season.
This reminds me of my argument about Lebron's Cleveland. They play in the trashy east conference, that doesn't mean they're not great.

Consistency is the key. I guess we shall see.

The beginning of the season has no influence on the quality of the teams during or at season's end. Simple fact, yes they played the schedule that was layed out for them but as the season played out it was the easiest schedule of any team In the league. They were LAST in SOS. What the rank is before the season starts means absolutely NOTHING. All that bs is based on the prior season.

I believe they both had 4 common opp. I think zona and hawks are the only formidable ones. Looks fairly even

NE & Atlanta had 5 common opponents in the 2016-2017 season.

Atlanta allowed fewer points against than NE in 3 out of 5 of those.

Overall NE allowed a mere 3 points less than Atlanta in the combined total of points allowed in the 5 common opponent games.*

* Since Atlanta played one of the teams twice, i used the average number of points allowed in the two games.

Points allowed vs common opponents:

Seattle: NE 31, Atl 20 & 26 (ave 23)

Arizona: NE 21, Atlanta 19

San Fr: NE 17, Atlanta 13

LA Ra: NE 10, Atlanta 14

Denv: NE 3, Atlanta 16

Total: NE 82, Atlanta 85

Pretty much even as far as the numbers are concerned, good info thanks.

I just mentioned the SOS because everyone is on the NE defense bandwagon for some reason. They haven't faced nothing close to what they will see with Atlanta and the Falcons have a very good defense and are being overshadowed by all the NE talk. I'm not really a stats person when it comes to the Super Bowl. (for instance last season when Denver handled the 15-1 Panthers rather easily) There is a lot more to picking the Super Bowl ATS and SU winner than offense and defensive stats, trust me, and as I said I'm far from always right but I know I won't eat my words with my Atlanta +3 selection.
