How would I go about trying to obtain Super Bowl tickets for next years game? Is it possible for an average joe to get these tickets or am I wasting my time?

The June 1 deadline has passed. Requests for Super Bowl XL in Detroit will be accepted beginning Feb. 1, 2005. They should be sent to:

Its a crapshoot but if you're lucky enough to get your name drawn you can make a nice little profit on the tickets if you decide to sell them.

Interesting, I had heard of the lottery, but never knew the exact details of how one enters it. Thank you for pointing this out. I would love to know how many they get on average and how many they reserve for the lotto.

500 pairs I believe. Could actually be 500 seats sold in pairs. I heard they get about 200k entries so you probably still have a better shot hitting a 10-teamer that you put $20 on and buying the tickets with the winnings.
