I don't get how they can have prop bets on things that can't be that big of a mystery? Things like the length of the national anthem or what song Bruno Mars will sing first. I saw one concerning what color gloves a performer will wear. There's also things like what color will the gator aide dumped on the winning coach be.
All of these things can be easily figured out ahead of time. Not by us the common guy but certainly by individuals in the right places.
The musical stuff: They have rehearsals so how surprising is it to the crew or anyone in the stadium at the time? Do they outlaw stopwatches? The musicians have to know what song they are playing first. The singers can tip off their friends and help them cash a sure thing. If books take the bets the performers are under no obligation to keep those things secret.
As for things like the Gatorade it has to be preordered by someone, employees that pack and ship the Gatorade know. The delivery guys know, the people that unload it and put it in coolers know. Even if each team is different bet them both.
I just don't understand how they can offer bets on things plenty of people will know.

My theory would be that they limit the wager to something small, so the payout isn't much, and it brings people to the window who will likely place other bets as well. In other words, playing off human nature. Also, perhaps they take into account the people that do know, but make enough off the people who don't know to cover the ones that do.

Don't most places limit the amount you can wager on those props?
I'd be suprised if any shops allow wagers over $1000.
So might not be worth the informants risk.

I don't see what the risk would be. How can it be a crime if someone were to ask about the play list or order? How would someone be in trouble for spitting out what they know or heard?
As for a limit you could place bets at multiple venues. If I knew a definite answer to a prop I could turn some nice coin. If I lived in Vegas, better yet. Between sports books and off shore I could turn over 10,000 pretty easy.

I did notice a disclaimer on the first song stating only bets placed before info becomes public knowledge are valid and that is up to the book manager's discretion. I guess they can screw people with that one.
That means that tip on Gorilla being first could be considered public knowledge .......

Shush()* I hope the book managers don't monitor the RX.
