YTD: 11-7

Kentucky (-7.5) over Florida

Kentucky is currently playing their best basketball...winning 5 in a row (5-0 ATS). Gerald Fitch is back healthy and Cliff Hawkins has quietly been becoming one of the best point guards in the country.

Earlier this season, Florida took control early in the second half and built an 11-point lead with less than seven minutes left. The Gators still led by eight with less than three minutes left. Yet Kentucky outscored Florida 20-6 in the final 6:30 to win 68-65. Worse for those denying the mental meltdown angle, Florida went scoreless the final 2:57 and helped UK with three late turnovers. Showing the evidence that Kentucky has dominated this series of late...4-0 ATS in the past 2 seasons.

Florida guard, Anthony Roberson has led Florida in their recent streak of wins. But he'll be facing (imo) the best defensive backcourt in the SEC. Last year @ Rupp they held Roberson & Company to just six baskets and 20-percent shooting in the first half.

VCU (-2)(-130) over Old Dominion

I'm buying the extra point for added insurance, VCU tends to be weak from the free throw line at times. Anyways, VCU finished the season very strong...they won their sixth straight game and 12th in 14 games. No surprise, as newcomers BA Walker and Jesse Pellot Rosa are getting more accustomed.

VCU did look sluggish against Towson St, but I' wont give that much weight. Towson came out strong and gave their best effort. VCU escaped with a win and now move on. The series matchup has been dominated by VCU...as they won both meeetings this season. I feel the athletic Rams grab a win here and move onto the championship game.

New Orleans (-2)(-120) over North Texas

A bit of a gut play...I like the fact NO got beat by NT a couple weeks ago, so a bit of a revenge play also.
