Does anyone have VSL (Vegas Super Lock) hockey play today? It is suppose to be a Superlock play. This is their biggest play.

OVER 8.5 ST. LOUIS @ CHI. CUBS | 6/09 | 7:05 PM EDT

1:24 PM
Adam Wainwright was sensational his last start which by the way was against the Cubbies. Eight innings, two hits, zero runs however he did walk seven batters making his day just a little bit lucky to get away with that many base runners. That game was in Saint Louis where Wainwright does his best work but today on the road where his ERA is 6.61. I'm looking for the Cubs to get their revenge early and often. The Cubs' Kyle Hendricks was lights out from mid-April through the first two weeks of May. Over his last four games he has given up 11 earned runs over 26 2/3 innings. He dominated the Cardinals at home on May 3, shutting them out on just 4 hits and no walks. I really like this Cardinal line up and think they will get some revenge of their own tonight. Take the Over (-106).

SAN FRANCISCO +142

L.A. DODGERS @ SAN FRANCISCO | 6/09 | 4:05 PM EDT
1:12 PM
Madison Bumgarner is stuck on a bad team and at 29 years old is in the prime of his career. Bumgarner gets up for only a couple of teams and archrival L.A. is one of them. In 12 innings this year Bum has given up just one earned run on nine hits versus the Dodgers. The Dodgers lineup is more lethal versus right handed pitching than lefties. Walker Buehler has been just 10 cents above average on the road in 2019. Over the last two years Buehler's ERA in the day has been almost two runs higher than it is in night games. Bumgarner is one of the 15 best pitchers in baseball and does is best work in the biggest games.

CHI. CUBS -175

ST. LOUIS @ CHI. CUBS | 6/09 | 7:05 PM EDT
2:04 PM
It was just last Sunday that Adam Wainwright had his best performance of 2019 with eight shutout innings in a win against the Cubs and gave the Cardinals a three-game sweep. Now it's the Cubs ready for some payback as they go for the three-game sweep. Wainwright took advantage of a team on the skids last week. The Cubs have been hitting well the past week and Wainwright certainly won't get away unscathed with seven walks like last week. Cubs win.

I have a very long and detailed explanation for this pick. Are you ready for it? This total is too high. That's it. That's the explanation.

L.A. ANGELS -155

SEATTLE @ L.A. ANGELS | 6/09 | 4:07 PM EDT
12:25 PM
The concern with this pick is I don't know too much about Angels starter Jose Suarez. He's only 21 with 5.2 MLB innings under his belt, and his career in the minors hasn't exactly been transcendent. Still, I like the Angels here as their offense has been hot as of late, and they're going against Wade LeBlanc who is nearly an auto-fade for me this season. LeBlanc has allowed 2.54 HR per 9 innings this season and has mostly been tossing batting practice. The Angels should tee off again this afternoon.

UNDER 10 N.Y. YANKEES @ CLEVELAND | 6/09 | 1:10 PM EDT

12:21 PM
The Indians offense has started to display some power, if not efficiency as of late. As a team Cleveland has an OBP of only .288 over the last week, but it's slugging .532 in that span, so it's somewhat all-or-nothing. I'm banking on more nothing than all today, even against the Yankees Chad Green. Indians starter Shane Bieber has been very good this season, and I think he'll keep the Yankees offense under control, so this total is just a bit too high.

8-2-2 IN LAST 12 NYY O/U PICKS | +583

UNDER 8.5 TAMPA BAY @ BOSTON | 6/09 | 1:05 PM EDT

12:15 PM
Everybody is familiar with Tampa's Blake Snell after he won the Cy Young last season, but Boston's Eduardo Rodriguez has flown a bit under the radar. He has an ERA of 4.88, but his xFIP of 3.75 is a lot more encouraging, and while he doesn't get a lot of strikeouts, he doesn't get hit hard, either. So the combination of him and Snell on the mound should make for a lower-scoring affair, and Boston being without JD Martinez and Andrew Benintendi is a bonus as well.

View Analysis

Wainwright v. Hendricks
Wainwright pitched last against these Cubbies last Sunday...went for 8 full innings...faced 30 batters and threw 126 pitches all told...in a very solid 2-1 win. He also walked 7 batters despite allowing just 2 hits! In such a spot overall pitchers facing the same team again specifically since 2017 are 8-21...4-11 if they also won that previous start.
The Cubs succumbed a 4-0 deficit before even coming to the plate last night....but allowed nary another run holding them scoreless for the final 8 frames in what turned out an easy win.
No Molina for the Cards either....might be enough to never want to back such a team period....other factors included and I think we're lucky this ain't -200...so we pounce hard!
