My selection is on Cleveland and Buffalo under the total. Recently we've been reminded that snow doesn't necessarily suppress scoring, and rain frequently has little impact either. However, strong winds tend to noticeably hinder offensive production. With significant wind forecasted for this matchup, it could disrupt kicking accuracy and/or limit the effectiveness of deep passing plays.
Even without wind as a factor, this contest projects as a low-scoring affair. While Buffalo has been involved in several high-scoring games lately—which has helped inflate this over/under total (it might otherwise sit in the 30s)—Cleveland presents a far different challenge than opponents like the Bengals or Patriots. The Browns boast an elite defense paired with a struggling offense. In their most recent game, Cleveland scored just 3 points, with rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders throwing three interceptions. Defensively, the Browns rank among the league's best, surrendering only 279.1 yards per game—tied for second in the NFL with the Chargers, trailing only Houston. Expect defense to dominate. Take the under. Playable at 38 and above
