Lions -6.5 over Bucs
The Lions are a well-balanced offensive attack as they successfully throw and run the ball. Detroit has a solid offensive line, and Jared Goff is hungry to play in the Conference Title next week. Tampa has a tremendous defense that can keep them in games, and they have outstanding receivers in Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. The Bucs’ offensive line could be better, and the running game isn’t too impressive; this will hold Tampa back on the road. Detroit has a one-two punch when running the ball, while Tampa can’t do anything unless Rachaad White gets the ball. The youth on both sides of the line of scrimmage will be Tampa’s downfall. Big games are won in the trenches. Take Detroit.

Chiefs +2.5 over Bills
When it’s late in the year, and there are only two games to choose from, there is little value or error in the Vegas oddsmaker’s line. The unpredictable fluke plays separate teams. Kansas City has been in this scenario before and has the nerve to handle big-game pressure. Both teams can advance to the next round, but we will take the Chiefs because of one big concern: the Bills being secondary. Buffalo is without Christian Bedford and Taylor Rapp. Rasul Douglas and Taron Johnson are questionable nursing injuries, and Tre’Davious White is on IR. The Bills have a lot of talent, but being full-strength would be ideal against Patrick Mahomes. Buffalo will be shorthanded at linebacker as well. The game will come down to one big play. Take the Chiefs.
