Well this is it for the season. I'll put up the YTD shortly when I go over the figures. Just remember, teams that MUST win often don't, so keep that in mind when placeing wagers this last week.

LIONS +500 I've avoided using them over the last few week and I'm glad I did. I expect a full out effort from this team, and GB is no great shakes at home any more.

GIANTS +265 How can you NOT take the SB champs at this price when they say they are going to play all their starters? They have a history of beating this team, and pretty good at that.

DA BEARS +135 Someone please explain to me why they are a dog at all! They've been playing well, and the Texans just lost to the Raiders for crying out loud. They still have something to play for, as the Giants might beat the Vikings. What are the Texans playing for...to reach a .500 record for the 2nd year in a row? Gimmee a break!

SAINTS +105 Should be an all out effort by the Saints to get Brees the passing record. If McAllistor gets going like the other runners have done against the Panthers, they should get the win!

I almost took the Dolphins, but the Jets always seem to find a way to beat them.

Here's the reason - BECAUSE THE BEARS WON ! and BECAUSE THE TEXANS LOST ! - in their games last week , a classical set up in my mind. Add to this : "The Bears gotta win to get in!" , ... I Love the Bears , ... BUT - What if they win by one point ? Let's say the FINAL SCORE is CHICAGO 24 HOUSTON 23 , ... well CHICAGO STILL WINS, ... but they don't make the SPREAD and thus will get in to the playoff picture. I got a HEADACHE trying to cap this game, as I DO want the BEARS to win, BUT something inside me tells me that the TEXANS may just pull it off to avoid a losing season, AND coupled with the FACT that this is their LAST game for the season at home - The home team AND its crowd will be rocking ! , .... you can bank on that!

how do you figure the bears are playing well? They have been playing like garbage forever buddy. They lucked out last week and the other games they have won this season. There are two locks this weekend.

BILLS +200 With the way the winds are flying around in upper N.Y. State....35-60 mph....let's take a shot that the Bills are going to upset the runningbackless Pats! Something stinks about this game anyway. All week long.... in the media...this game is like it shouldn't even be played! Yet the line hasn't moved like it should be the way the action is coming in on the Pats. Stranger things have happened!
