are you guys on crack who love the Mets? did you watch last nights game? they are a disaster and a blow up is in the process. they have scored 1 run in their last 18 innings and....

The Mets went into Friday's game ranked 29th in the Majors in batting average (.226), on-base percentage (.288) and slugging (.341) since July 1, and then they went out and made one run work for them. The Mets rank 12th in the NL in scoring at home and on the road, and they've batted just .214 (195-for-913) since the All-Star break.

that being said....after Pelfrey went through that rough stretch were he got bombed in about 4 starts in a row...last time out he really seemed to regain his form and looked like the Pelfrey from earlier this year....so who knows....this game really depends on which guy shows up.

I'm a Phils fan and I'm all over the Mets. Mets starting 7 lefties, they'll likely bomb Kendrick and could be a breakout game for their offense.

Hey you gotta use whatever angle you can, I along with a boatload of others made a lot of money off of the Fade Lang angle during Football season, especially in CFB.

also one more thing...the Mets have only won 2 series all YEAR against NL teams. TWO. the last one coming the very last series before the Phils against the Rockies.......now they are going to win two series in a row? after not being about to win a total of two till freaking mid August.....I don't know.....think this is just a game to lay off...to many question marks.

I personally like Philly but will probably layoff due to the rollercoaster I went through with the Cubs where I had to sweat out a 7 run bottom of the 9th lead. TOmmorrow is a new day, no need to force a play especially with a nationally televised game where weird shit always happens. I have been killing it on Monday night ESPN games so maybe I'll just wait for that.

I strongly doubt pelfrey is completely back. He blanked a rockies offense that is absolutely abysmal on the road. Rockies scored all those runs in the 2nd game you say? It was a 2-1 game before Melvin Mora said fuck you and grand slammed with two outs.

Look up the Mets lineup against righties, they all suck even though they are lefthanded batters. Kendrick is a scrub, but he has always responded this season when he has been lit up. He knows his job is on the line with this start, he'll do his best against this shitty offense.
