The Rams downgraded DE Robert Quinn to out for Sunday's game against Baltimore. Quinn has been dealing with hip, back and knee issues since the week 6 bye. He sat out two weeks ago against Minnesota and played just 14 snaps last week against Chicago. Eugene Sims started in his place the past two weeks.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will be in Minnesota on Sunday for the Vikings-Packers game, and to tour the Vikings' new stadium, which is scheduled to open next summer. Goodell and Vikings president Mark Wilf will hold a brief Q-and-A with fans and media before the game. It will be the commissioner's first time at a Vikings home game since Oct. 7, 2012.

The Packers added CB Damarious Randall (hamstring) to the injury report, and he's questionable for Sunday at Minnesota. Also, DB Micah Hyde (hip) and G T.J. Lang (shoulder) have been upgraded to probable, while WR Ty Montgomery (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful.

The Bengals have upgraded DE Michael Johnson's (back) status to Questionable for Sunday night's game in Arizona, and downgraded DT Pat Sims (knee) to Out. Still no change in Doubtful Adam Jones (foot).

Patriots starting LB Jamie Collins was absent from the team's Saturday practice, according to reporters on the scene. This makes it nearly certain that Collins will not play Monday against the Bills, which is the way things have been trending as the week unfolded so it is not a surprise. Collins has been out with an illness since Nov. 6. Meanwhile, rookie CB Justin Coleman will also likely be out with a hand injury as he has missed practice all week.

At this point, the Packers are not promoting practice squad receiver Ed Williams to the roster, per a source. With Jared Abbrederis out and Ty Montgomery downgraded to doubtful, they could have only four receivers available for Sunday's game at Minnesota

Colin Kaepernick's season is over as the 49ers on Saturday announced he was being placed on Injured Reserve. Kaepernick, who lost his starting job to Blaine Gabbert two weeks ago, appeared on the Niners' injury report this week with a left (non-throwing) shoulder issue, though he was listed as a full participant in every practice and probable to play Sunday at the Seattle Seahawks. Undrafted rookie QB Dylan Thompson was promoted from the practice squad to take Kaepernick's spot on the 53-man roster.

The Patriots officially ruled out LB Jamie Collins (illness), CB Justin Coleman (hand) and WR Julian Edelman (left foot) for Monday’s game against the Bills, which was expected after they missed practice all week. Offensive linemen Sebastian Vollmer (concussion), Marcus Cannon (toe) and Tre’ Jackson (left knee) are questionable, as it receiver Keshawn Martin (hamstring). Meanwhile, NFL sack leader Chandler Jones (abdomen) is probable, which is a virtual certainty to play.

Preparing to play without DE Sheldon Richardson (hamstring), the Jets have signed DE Mike Catapano from their practice squad. That'll allow them to dress 6 DLM tomorrow against the Texans. They also activated WR Quincy Enunwa (after suspension). To make room, they put RB Zac Stacy on injured reserve and waived S Ronald Martin.

The Seahawks have waived RB Bryce Brown and signed LB Eric Pinkins. The Brown move indicates they are probably not worried about Marshawn Lynch (questionable, abdomen) playing vs. the 49ers. Pinkins adds depth at LB where Bruce Irvin (knee) won't be active.

Predicting the Jets' inactives for tomorrow: DE Sheldon Richardson (injured), S Dion Bailey (injured), WR Devin Smith, T Ben Ijalana, G Dakota Dozier, QB Bryce Petty and CB Dee Milliner. For a change, they have a couple of tough decisions. They have 6 WRs, 3 RBs and 7 CBs on the 53, so a couple have to sit. Wouldn't be surprised if RB Stevan Ridley is a healthy scratch.
