Sunday Marguee matchup Boston vs Phx PK'em

No KG, no Amare. Suns been on a roll vs clips/thunder... 140 past 3 games. Will they be able to score on this Boston defense ? Revenge game for Phx as well. Early lean on Phx here.. think Boston will struggle without KG. They only have a couple scorers on that team, when they run a lineup of Davis,Powe,Perkins, Allen, Pierce, Rondo.. It's gonna be on Pierce and Allen to both have huge scoring days. Also, I see Boston fouling alot and the transition game of Phx will produce this. thoughts on this one? :think2: should be a good game. @)

Not really sure yet what the best play is, but I know that the Suns are going to feel the loss of Amar'e much more against a team that actually focuses on defense compared to the performance of OKC last night

you may have a point but then there is the fact that the suns were quoted in saying "that it is guaranteed that they will not hit 149 3 straight times b/c they are facing boston". that shows me a lack of confidence as well. I will not be playing this game so don't miss understand me, I'm not saying its a bad play. I just was giving you some info.

I too like Phoenix. I expect Phoenix to play with something to prove, and I really like Barbosa in the starting lineup. We all know that Amare is not a great defensive power forward like KG, so why not go small and run the court. It seems to me that Phoenix is going back to the philosophy of " outscoring opponents" rather than trying to play defense like Porter was trying to get them to do. Of course Boston will play good defense and limit the Suns fast break, but then Phoenix can go through Shaq now in the half court offense, without the conflict of interest that was there with Amare. I am playing Phoenix also

After Shaq the Suns are very small. That bodes badly for the inside game if shaq gets into foul trouble, which the celtics will likely key in.

You should also assume the Celts take away the easy transition buckets, & won't give the Suns a lot of open looks.

It should be ugly...& IMO that favors the Celts
