The first game I like is Michigan State -4. I jumped on this early. USC comes in OFF a long ATS Win streak (like Maryland today) and even worse they won their conference tournament as a non-high seed. Historically, that is not a good situation to be in for this tournament. This is creating line value on Michigan State IMO. I gained some respect for the Big 10 after Purdue beat Washington in what was basically a road game. However, I've been high on Michigan State all year. Even when some bashed the Big 10 I said Michigan State will be extremely dangerous because of the living legend Izzo Fo Shizzo. In fact, I would not have been surprised if Michigan State received a #1 seed for the NCAA Tournament. That there tells you how high I am on this team. This team also beat teams such as Kansas and Oklahoma State by double-digits earlier in the year. Some USC backers will keep riding the Trojan wagon, but I think here they have met their match.

I love this play. I think the Pac 10 as a whole is gone tomorrow as well.

this is a tricky game. I was expecting to see a line of like MSU -7 and was going to jump all over SC. I think SC can beat MSU but it all depends on how the game is called by the refs. If the refs decide to call it close which would be a damn shame with 2 physical teams like this, then SC could get fucked if Gibson gets in foul trouble. However if SC plays smart and runs the offense through Gibson and he stays out of foul trouble and can play his game, MSU is going to get beat. SC has long and athletic perimeter players who can give MSU some trouble.
THis will be one of the best games tommorrow. I may stay away from it just so I can actually enjoy watching it.

I was also somewhat surprised that today Purdue stayed head-to-head with Washington in rebounds. Washington was leading the Pac-10 in Total Rebounds, Off Rebounds, and Def Rebounds which Michigan State does for the Big 10. Michigan State outrebounded Purdue by 16 when they won and still by 5 when they lost to Purdue. USC played Washington twice (great rebounding team) and lost both games SU. If your a fan of rebounding then you gotta love Izzo. Michigan State has been a great rebounding team as long as I can remember. Furthermore, I think rebounding is one of the biggest things in basketball. You can play great defense on a possession, but if you don't get the rebound then you just wasted energy. On the offensive end you can be throwing up bricks all night (maybe not your night), but then you get second-chance points or probably go to the line since your inside. USC is a good rebounding team, no doubt. However, Sparty has it down to an artform. That is one of the reasons I like Michigan State. Should be a good game though.

Going back to my previous post I think Sparty controls the glass like usual and gets those offensive rebounds and then Gibson gets in foul trouble. After that, Sparty will dominate the glass.

Houston +8.5 (NBA, right back-revenge from a week ago for the Rockets who lost at home to San Antonio, now they go on the road, I rarely play NBA, but I''ll take the teaser here)

At halftime Sparty has a 19-7 rebounding edge and is up 3 despite shooting 5% worse than Southern Cal from the field

I'll be back tomorrow for some more postseason action,

I can't post this game yet. The public is pounding the other side of me as expected so I'll wait for some more line value. However, that is not the resaon I like them. What a psychological set-up.

Looks like I should have stuck with my boy Izzo after touting him as a living legend last week. I didn't play against him today, but I had Kansas the other night against him. Kansas had a great chance to win it. They were up 5 pretty late. Oh well. Your still good in my book Izzo so I don't regret this article touting you.
