They saved him for game 2 against UL. They did not waste him in the opener against the 4 seed.

He threw over 140 pitches in that game.

The Cajuns ace did throw in game 1 and only threw 74 pitches.

Like I said, look for him to be available. From what I understand, he only needs one day rest. The Husker announcers were just discussing it FWIW. You might want to check that out before unloading.

Even so, we already beat him once when he was rested with our #2.

Now he have our ACE on the mound, (a high future MLB draft pick BTW) against a worn out pitcher with little rest coming off of a 140 pitch night.

may well be a decent spot if you get that price. AM will be tough to beat though. Should be a good one.

Game at A&M to go to the super regionals...tough to fade them...

UL LAFAYETTE is the greatest secret in college baseball. We have been down this road before. 3 super reginals, 1 college world series. We beat SOUTH CARALINA in 2000 when they were the #1 team in the country in the super regional. They only had 4 home loses all season.

Then we went to OMAHA and beat the favorite to win the whole thing CLEMSON.

This team is better than that team.

And better yet, we are set up perfectly for this contest. We were in the winners bracket the whole time using very little of our pitching.

The CAJUNS should be the fav in this spot, but they are going to be a dog of at least +150 or more.

REMEMBER, the only reason we are not hosting this regional is because they did not upgrade the press box in time.
