2-1 yesterday, record is 51-45 -2.38 units.

Minnesota -102
CanBet
Reed vs Davis

I don't think the pitching favors Cleveland enough to not bet the better team, Minny is certainly that. Reed is a career 6-0 against Cleveland and the team is 7-3 last 10. On the other side Davis is a career 0-1 and his only start this year he made it 2.1 innings before trying out the new soap. This Cleveland team has only won twice since the All-Star break and is 2-10 in their last 12 games. Gut tells me the better team will win here in the rubber match of the series. I like the -102 here a lot.

Ask Davis about the 4th inning if Cleveland's locker room manager went to the liquid soap now.

Promised myself I wouldn't do this but.....

KC -168 Pinnacle
Lima vs Maroth

What can I say, Lima is making me a believer. KC is 7-0 as a team when he starts and Lima is 6-0. Plus the Royals have been playing very well on the road (10-4) of late. Maroth may be the Tigers "ace" but he still has an ERA of 8.15 in his last 3 starts and Detroit is 1-9 when he has started during the day. Won't help any either that the Royals have been destroying lefties of late (like Maroth). Hate to lay this much but if it wins it won't hurt at all.

PS - I don't play parlays as a rule but split one with TWOMULES as we both like the under as well. Play it small but KC and under might be way the the way the game plays out.

Houston/Cubs U10.5 -110 Rio
Robertson vs Estes

This is one where you hope the weaknesses neutralize themselves. For instance Cubs hit lefties well but Robertson has just been on fire of late, you hope he controls that side of it. The other sides is Estes has been bad lately on the hill but Houston has been pathetic against lefties of late (.178). In fact just .245 their last 10 overall. So in this case you hope they help along and Estes though not pitching well can control their scoring. As I said always dangerous to play unders in this stadium anyway so the line is high for a reason, let's see if we can sneak this one in.

FWIW there are some trends for the under. Umpire has been involved in unders of late and Cubs road games the under is 28-11-2 in their last 41. Also Houston unders are 12-1 in last 13 games. We got a small chance here boys...

That's it guys for me, have a couple of late leans that if I start out well will add later. Also upset of the day could be Tampa. They are not intimidated by the White Sox and them laying -240 or so is a joke. Kennedy is rounding his way back into form and could give CWS fits today. My partner played Tampa +1.5 runs parlayed with the under.

Who knows just throwing it out in case someone else has an opinion. Good luck today men.

Good write-up on the Cubs/Astros game. I couldn't believe the line was so high but your explanation of this stadium explains that.

I agree with you that the weaknesses should cancel each other. I think the line is high also because Estes hasn't been pitching well but the 'Stros haven't scored more than 3 runs in their last 6 games.

Tampa was a good buy last night. I was thinking of taking them again today but I had my doubts as to whether they could do it twice in a row. However maybe taking the rl at +1.5 might be a good way to go. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks BG what are you looking at? Anything you like a lot not mentioned here? I assume you like the under in Houston too according to your post? I hope that one cashes, it could be the make or break me game if I split the other two.

It's hard not to go with Atlanta with Maddux pitching in addition to the over in that game. I was also going to go with the under in the LA/AZ game but sooner or later one of those teams will break out of their slump. Maybe it's a mental barrier of 7.0 as being the o/u that scares me away also.

I'll post my other pic in the main forum.

McIrish, don't mean to nitpick (or however you spell it), but my research shows Reed is 6-3 liftime vs Cleveland. Still tend to agree with you on the side.

Thanks men, if Minnesota doesn't blow the lead in the bottom 9th it would have been a nice 3-0 day. Best thing about it all was my nephew hit his KC and under parlay. Watching him win $50 is better than winning a dime of my own....
