Hear are today's selections:

10 Units New England Patriots -12 +101

The Patriots (3-0 SU, 2-1 ATS) go for the NFL record for wins here. And they'll get it with ease against a positively putrid Miami team (0-4). Miami is a mess, with no skill position talent and plenty of discontent and disorganization on the sidelines. The Dolphins are averaging 8 points, 59 yards rushing and 178 passing per game! Throw out the hurricane game and Miami is still averaging less than 10 points per game! So how is this dysfunctional team going to score against the fired-up defending champs, who outscored opponents by a 21-10 average in 2003 at home? In fact, New England has won 12 in a row at home, not having lost since 2002 (12-0, 10-2 ATS its last 12 at home). Notice, too, that Miami's run defense has been poor, giving up 134 yards on the ground per game. Trading away one of their top defensive players for WR Marty Booker has weakened the 'D'. Which means New England will have a field day, as its rushing offense is vastly improved behind RB Corey Dillon (323 yards, 4.9 ypc). The Pats are averaging 27 points and 392 yards per game and they were 2-0 SU/ATS against Miami last season, holding the Dolphins to an average of 6.5 points. The Patriots always get fired up for the rival Dolphins and this one will be a rout.

Good Luck

7 Units New Orleans Saints -3 -112

The scoring impaired Buccaneers continued their winless ways on Sunday when they lost to the Broncos 16-13. Tampa Bay (0-4 SU, 0-3 ATS) has now scored a grand total of 49 points on the year, and lost six in a row dating back to last season so it's time for a QB change this week. Chris Simms (son of Phil) takes over to revive the Buccaneer offense. Simms replaces Brad Johnson who in the loss to Denver completed 15-of-23 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown, while Michael Clayton hauled in four catches for 91 yards and a score. Michael Pittman made his 2004 debut, rushing for 72 yards on 15 carries. Injuries have certainly played a part in the Bucs' demise with RB Charlie Garner (Knee), WR Keenan McCardell (Holdout), WR Joey Galloway (Groin) and WR Joe Jurevicius all out. The Saints Aaron Brooks couldn't quite muster up enough offense this week when the "Aints" lost to the Cardinals 34-10. An ineffective Brooks completed 24 of his 40 passes for 242 yards for New Orleans (2-2 SU, 1-3 ATS). After rallying his team to the 12th and 13th fourth-quarter comeback wins of his career the last two weeks against the San Francisco 49ers (30-27) and St. Louis Rams (28-25), Brooks was off to a flying start. Deuce McAllister was sidelined for a second straight game Sunday with a sprained right ankle, but the Saints expect him back this week (check his status). A healthy Deuce will make Brooks that much more effective so look for the "Aints" to come marching home and get back on track this week. Three straight OVERS for the Saints while the Bucs have been UNDER in 3 of 4.

Good Luck,

5 Units Houston Texans +4 -111

The No. 1 offense in the NFL takes on the Texans (2-2), who are flying high after winning two in a row. Minnesota (2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS) has had two weeks to prepare, and the offense averages 26 points, 422 yards per game (102 rushing, 320 passing). The defense is allowing 22 points and 272 passing pg. QB Daunte Culpepper (945 passing yards, 73%, 8 TDs, one INT) is on a roll, though the running game is ailing with RB Onterrio Smith possibly out (suspension) and RB Michael Bennett (knee) out 2 more weeks. Minnesota is 2-1 OVER the total this season and 20-13-1 OVER the total under Mike Tice since the start of the 2002 season. But Minnesota is 5-20 SU, 9-16 ATS its last 25 road games! The Vikings have lost 17 of 18 outdoor games -- Houston has a retractable roof, so they might as well open it as far as possible! The Houston Texans (2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS) beat the Raiders, 30-17, and the defense has been tough, allowing 133 rushing, and 199 passing per contest. QB David Carr leads a strong passing game with WRs Andre Johnson and Jabar Gaffney. Minnesota has been awful on the road, but here their offensive line and deep passing game should be able to give the young Texans some fits.

Good Luck,

5 Units Denver Broncos -5 -105

The wacky Panthers are a fraud. While tough defense and a great running attack carried them to the Super Bowl last season, this has been a very different (and disappointing) team. The Panthers are 0-2 SU/ATS at home. Carolina is averaging just 96 yards rushing per game and 253 passing. In short, they've flip-flopped. Injuries have taken a toll on the offense: WR Steve Smith (leg) is still out, but they may get a boost as RB Stephen Davis (Knee Surgery) is expected back for this game. Most disturbing is the defense: The Panthers are surrendering 22.7 points and 142 yards rushing per game! Don't think Denver's coaching staff hasn't noticed that weakness. Denver (3-1 SU, 1-1-2 ATS) is one tough place to play (19-7 Su, 14-11-1 ATS the last 26 home games). The Broncos defense has really played well, allowing 14 points, 107 yards rushing and 137 passing per game! The offense isn't as explosive as a year ago, but they are balanced and getting the job done. Denver RB Quentin Griffin is questionable. Denver's defense will control this game and their balanced offense will give the suddenly suspect Carolina run 'D' trouble. By the way, these teams are a combined 6-1 UNDER the total this season!

5 Units Seattle Seahawks -7 -111

SHOOTOUT CITY. A couple of score first, ask questions later offenses meet in the Emerald City this week. On Sunday night, Mark Bulger completed 17-of-25 passes for 186 yards and a score, as the St. Louis Rams (2-2 SU, 1-3 ATS) snapped a two-game losing streak by dominating the winless San Francisco 49ers at Monster Park, 24-14. Marshall Faulk rushed for 121 yards and Isaac Bruce had 100 yards receiving, while three reserves scored touchdowns for the Rams. The undefeated Seahawks (3-0 SU, ATS) come off their bye. Two weeks ago, Seattle handed San Francisco its first shutout in 27 years with a 34-0 rout. Shaun Alexander scored three touchdowns and Matt Hasselbeck ended 21-of-30 for 254 yards with two scores. Open the Dome for this high scoring pair. Teams split the last two years with each winning at home. The Seahawks have been dominant at home and are on a (10-0 SU, 7-3 ATS) run at home. Seattle's defense has improved dramatically with the addition of NT Grant Wistrom, a former Ram. Look for Wistrom to stick it to his old team as the Rams have had a weak offensive line all season.

5 Units Arizona Cardinals +1 -103

Emmitt Smith threw a 21-yard touchdown pass and ran for 127 yards and a touchdown to lead the Arizona Cardinals to their first win of the season, a 34-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints. In what was an important game for him, Josh McCown threw for 157 yards on 12-of-18 passing for the Cardinals (1-3 SU, 3-1 ATS), who posted their first triumph in the Dennis Green era. The 49ers can't get off the mat following a 24-14 loss to the Rams on Sunday. The Rams scored two touchdowns in a 38 second span of the first quarter to all but put the game away against San Francisco's anemic offense. Tom Rattay ended 31-of-47 for 299 yards, with two scores and one interception. Eric Johnson had 10 catches for 113 yards. The 49ers are 0-4 SU, 2-2 ATS and coming off, perhaps, the organization's lowest moment in years. Josh McCown showed he could overcome adversity in the win over the Saints this week, while Tim Rattay showed he just might not be the next SF savior at QB. The Niners are talent-short and even the improving Cardinals take advantage this week.
