Race 1

(7) CARDINAL WIND probably has the most ability in the field and just needs to stay trotting for a piece. (4) GOTTALUVAREDHEAD gelding raced his best ever in his first start off a layoff. The trotter has had trouble finishing his miles in the past but was sharp last out. (1) BELLS MOPED draws the rail against a weak field.

Race 2

(3) CYBER GAL filly put in a good last quarter off the layoff. The driver opted elsewhere but the pacer has some ability. (1) JUST ONE DANCE mare was sharp last out and will be tough to beat with a smooth trip. (2) HANDN HAILEYLCB mare is very inconsistent but does own a good burst of speed.

Race 3

(1) DIXIE REBEL ships in from out east, draws the best post, and faces significantly easier. (7) LOVIN YOU FOREVER well bred trotting mare might have the most upside in the race. The 4-year-old could be sitting on a much better effort than she shows on paper. (4) SO PHOTOGENIC might be starting to turn a corner in a weak field; threat.

Race 4

In a very tough race to handicap (5) ALWAYS A TALE doesn't get the best pilot but might have the most horsepower to work with. (8) MISS RICH BRITCHES has shown very little progress in her career and would need to race much better; command a price. (7) FRONTIER FANNIE could benefit from a speed duel upfront.

Race 5

(5) BUONCAMMINO filly was tenacious first start out scoring at a big price. The secret is out but she should only improve. (2) CHARIOTS AFIRE mare really looks like she could become a nice pacer; big chance. (1) BROOKELYNN FANCY also jumped up with a big effort and would be in the mix with a repeat of her last effort.

Race 6

(7) JB OUI OUI can handle this bunch and proved it last year. (1) VIPER BLUE CHIP was facing stiff competition out east and now finds an ideal spot to do some damage. (6) BIG CHOCOLATE owns the most back class in the field. If the well bred trotting stallion is ready off the bench he's the horse to beat.

Race 7

(1) EMPLOYESS GO WILD pacer was super-sharp off the bench showing a big stretch kick. (5) SPEED RACER sophomore colt had no chance from an impossible post in his first career start. The pacer closed up nicely and could be the only threat to the top choice. (6) NO FEAR NO DOUBT dominated last out but now faces a much tougher bunch.

Race 8

(1) BENNS SCORE KEEPER comes into the race more fit than the rest of the field. The 6-year-old trotter draws the best post and is versatile. (4) MASTER OF EXCUSES gelding had a ton of trot late last race with no room to navigate; threat. (8) HERE'S JOHNNY will probably be firing early and with any breather up front will be tough to keep off the board.

Race 9

(4) BO'S SO HOT well bred 4-year-old raced greenly last out but looks to be a good one. (1) JUDE HALL pacer looks to be gaining confidence, switches to a new trainer, and gets the best post. (7) BLUE RIVER put in a sharp effort off the bench and would be a threat with another similar effort.

Race 10

In a soft field with few contenders (4) SEEKIN FOR GLAMOUR drew off easily against the same group. (1) LIQUEUR made the most money in the field last year and the trainer has had some horses jump up with some big efforts from time to time. (3) CASINO COMP mare gets a good post and should save some ground before shaking loose late.

That affair had a class rating of 87 and she is moving down in this race. A certain contender. This filly's last speed fig garnered on Mar 15th is number one in last race speed ratings. Popular handicapping theory - 3rd or 4th start after a vacation generally leads to a big effort. This horse is live today. She has the highest earnings per start. Check out this animal.

DEPUTY DILLON - Expect this gelding to be back early and come flying past them. Searching through the data for this race, I noted right away this horse's last effort was more than meets the eye. Showed good speed, fell back, and then ran evenly. TIME FOR SPRING - Jockey and conditioner do well when they partner up. Vargas and Pino have been steady together. DARK VOYAGER - This jock/trainer duo has been producing a high winning percent, right around 43. You should ignore that last clash at Laurel Park on the mud where he finished out of the top three. Should do well in this event under normal track conditions. This gelding is certainly on the improve with speed figs of 81, 92, 95 last three out.

I like ROARIN MISSILE here. Have to look at solely on class, with some of the top class numbers of this group of animals. Has run admirably when travelling a dirt sprint race. Will probably go to the lead and might never look back.
