Yep. U got that right. Advice already for suicide pool. Serious pool for 12 years now. This year bumped up to $100 buyin. Little over 10,000 entries. Yes this is a million dollar pot pool. Hence advice week 2. So of course I sweated out Seattle this past Sunday. Here is my possible play: Da Bears- I can't bring myself to take Carolina. At least 70% of pool Imo will be on them. Philly beat a weak browns squad. Bears hung in there vs Houston. Monday night at home I just think if there is ever a time to take the Bears it's next Monday night. Week two is brutal. Always is, always has been. Any thoughts or opinions much appreciated!!!!! Thank You!

Baltimore is an option
the only drawback is they are on the road
they should win this game easily

I am leaning towards Carolina. Of course the majority will be on them, but there is a reason for that. I am trying to come up w/ a better option but have not been able to convince myself that there is that option out there. I actually like Philly on the field and do not trust Balt vs Cleve, so those are out. Need to think about this some more. Good luck.

Thank u for the replies guys!
I'd be more confident in myself if I weren't having an awful year in sports betting. Never had such a bad year before. The balty/browns makes me nervous cause its a divisional game and browns always plays them tough. Detroit not bad idea just iffy and don't want to overreact with their performance from last week. Tennessee defense tougher than indy. Giants were on my radar jwp, very solid option.

Carolina is the obvious first choice. Patriots should beat Mia. Home team in that series has won last 8 or so. I also think Oakland could be a nice pick. Atlanta is garbage and Matt Ryan plays much worse outdoors

I am on Carolina, but I'm not trying to fade 10,000 others either. I would try to avoid the most likely top selection every week, which sounds like your trying to do.

I do really like the Bears this week (side note, I am a Bears fan, but a gambler first). At home, MNF, playing against a rookie QB who looked great against a bottom 2 team last week. And, it's not like you're going to hold the Bears for a "better spot" later. This is as good as its going to get for the Bears for a pool. Plenty of other spots for the Panthers. ...I may have just talked myself into the Bears.

Lions or Raiders, I think, would be two other solid, low percentage, choices.

I think I'm going Giants

I was the only one that took them week one :):) Wouldn't trust them vs Brees with Skins on deck, taking Chi this week GL :toast:

I took Philly week one and was looking at Chicago but hard for me to trust Cutler with the Eagles D looking like they can create turnovers. I am going ravens too I think. As bad as Cleveland looked vs Philly, I may go against Browns every week! They might go 0-16. They're awful.

Historically, Cleveland is an 8-0 Home Dog when the line is < 7 points off of a non division road game.

Sleepers would be Houston or Buffalo. Carolina looks like the obvious play.

As a person who lives 20 min from Philly I am taking Chicago this week. You would think that the Eagles are going to the super bowl with all of the hype in this area. The Browns will make any team look good and although I think Wentz looks good for a rookie, playing on the road in his 2nd start on Mon night is not a good spot for him. I know its the lowly Bears but I see Alshon having a great game and I think Cutler will pull it off. If there was ever a week to use the Bears, this is it. I have 4 entries in the pool I'm in and am using the Panthers in 2 of them. I'm still deciding on my 4th pick but am leaning Oakland. The falcons are brutal and Oakland should be able to get the win at home.

Handful of games smell fishy to me this week, including Mia @ NE, Atl @ Oak, and even Bal @ Cle. I personally am not going anywhere near those with any of my 10 survivor entries in various pools. I'll def have some Bears and of course some Panthers. I think the Cardinals lay the wood on TB but they're a team that can be used down the road. I personally do not trust the Lions yet, a lot of their output had to do with the Colts' putrid D, and it still came down to the wire. The Giants is a sneaky pick that I like, too, and they don't really have much future value even if they are better this year, with home games against BAL, CHI, or DET being the only other realistic times to use them.

I'm definitely using them in one of my picks but I have 3 other entries. If I only had one I wouldn't risk it and instead I would use the Panthers. I just think that its a bad spot for the Eagles and teams will have some film on Wentz to scheme for.
