I am new to suicide pools and last week I played steelers. There are now like 10 people left. Since pats are a slam dunk this week, I have a hard time not wanting to pick them. The nfc picture seems cloudy so I could pick after seeing how cowboys and falcons look after byes. Please help... I need to make pick by tomorrow at 5.

Hey. Nobody can really argue with your pick on the patriots. If you had bet them from 2006 until now ATS you would have covered 70-75% of your bets. They always seem to cover. Texans shouldn't even be in the playoffs right now. I doubt very seriously there is anyone here in Houston who thinks they have a chance of winning outright. Great team at home, terrible on the road. In a playoff situation teams don't let up so I'm preparing for a beat down unless something magical happens with Osweiler. If the season is any indication of that, we'll it's probably not gonna happen. Hoping to at least see a decent game. My money's on the pats too. Good luck!

NE money line is a lock. Brady NOT gonna lose to a team that his team won without him. The only change that this time Houston can score some like 13. NE score 30 or 31.

Winning is first and foremost with the Patriots and their fan but the players (and the coaches) know there are a lot of gamblers in N.E. and covering the spread is no small matter (a bonus) for their loyalty so, they go above and beyond just winning.

You got to pick the Pat's... all of the other 3 games have truly uncertain outcomes. It would be considered an epic upset for Brock Lobster to beat the 14-2 Pats in Foxboro...not impossible. The 2010 Jets, for instance, did it. But look at NE's home record... it is just silly.

The funny thing i heard on the WEEI local radio in Boston this week, some fans in Houston were interviewed with the station, they said Houston will be the first ever home team to host the SB game, i laughed out loud almost cause the accident on the road

I see you're from Mass. I can 100% guarantee you that they played the interviews of the outliers or drunk fans with too much pride. There is a very small percentage of people here in Houston who think we will beat the Patriots considering we were beat 27-0 against a backup QB. I've been to a lot of sports bars here, heard too many opinions of public guys, family, etc. I'm pretty sure it's comic relief on the airwaves buddy. The patriots have the players in all the skill positions to win the superbowl. They could and should go deep or just win the superbowl this year. Probably the best quarterback of all time if not top 5. I'm a pats fan myself living here in Houston, but I hear too many other Pats fans always talking about how they get no respect. I'm not saying you're that guy but come on man. Texans fans (most) in no way think they are winning this game in a million years.
