What a swing in the last couple days. Just Thursday things were looking grim, down $3,000. I felt embarrassed about it but I've learned with these longshot bets that things can change very quickly. Fast forward to Sunday and I am back into the positive hitting a couple big bets. By no means is that an indicator I'll be successful going forward but what it reinforces to me is I just need to stay patient and disciplined. I've been up around $3000 and down around $3,000. Those are huge swings. First goal scorer and anytime goal scorer are not easy to predict but I have my methods. When they hit it's amazing, when they don't, it can feel like I'll never pick a winner again. Anyways, that's my morning thoughts, Best of Luck to all as the season wears on.

• Calgary is on a back-to-back and Hellebuyck has a strong history against the Flames.

• Considering Minnesota's recent success against Chicago, the Wild's strong road record, and Chicago's offensive struggles which include their last place ranking in goals per game.

• Both teams have potent power plays and neither team has been playing exceptionally well on defense.
