Anyone ever come across any problems when using stubhub?
I have AZ Cardinals season tickets, and every year I sell about 3 games on stubhub. The profit I make off of those 3 games alone, usually more than pays for the entire cost of my 2 season tickets.
Ive sold about 15 pairs of tickets over the last 3 years between my ASU seats and my Cardinal's seats. I never once had a problem until yesterday.
The face value of my 2 tickets is $25 a piece. Earlier this week I sold my pair of tickets to the Cowboys game for $140 a piece. I printed the FedX shipping label, went down to the store, sealed it all up, got a tracking receipt, and shipped the tickets out that day.
I got a call from stubhub yesterday saying that the buyer received the FedX package but she claims it was empty with no tickets.
Stubhub said since I have been a good customer for 3 years with no issues, that I would probably be paid the full amount regardless of how I choose to proceed. They did ask me if I would have the tickets reprinted and ship them again. I said I would cooperate with this one more time.
I will get my reprinted tix on Tuesday and ship them AGAIN to the buyer. I can imagine what is probably going on here. The buyer probably plans to rip somebody off by selling the two tickets that I originally sent. Those tix are no good now since I requested a ticket reprint. I imagine she will probably either scalp the bogus ones outside of the stadium, or try to post them up on stubhub and rip some unsuspecting costumer off.
This chick has a Las Vegas address. If she screws with me again, I just might be tempted to post up her address so you boys going to the bash can pay her a little visit for me. :toast:
Im joking about that of course. Kind of...
