He did an excellent job, may have even been better than Jimmy Vs speech. It wasnt the Stuart Scott you see on air, it was a very humble man fighting for his life.

I'm no doctor and I don't even play one on the internet. But he said he had liver and kidney failure last week. Was that his way of saying he doesn't have much time left?

No one knows, he doesnt talk about it from what I have read but most people dont agree to a clinical trial if current treatments are going well. He has had his share of setbacks but it sounds like he has a great support staff. Im glad he gave a shout out to his nurses, I know mine are amazing and work their asses off. I wish him luck.

In all honesty, he looks and talks as if this is the end for him. Doesn't even look like himself. He is in trouble, sad fight.

People get cancer and die in prison as well. It happens to good and people the same, just not a news story unless they are famous.

Great guy great speech.

agree that it sound like he doesnt have much time left. Esp when he said dying isnt losing to cancer.

liked that he was willing to admit that it takes help... not an easy thing to do for anyone, let alone someone in his position. Good speech. Not a contest with Jimmy V... Pretty sure neither of them care who's speech was better.
