He's always been way overrated, he looks like a good hard nosed coach, other than than he is mediocre at best. Incredible talent at TX, nothing to show for it.
Capitulation time, they have to move on, team just looks poorly coached, not fundamentally sound, cant freaking tackle for shit, just embarassing watching this defensive guru put that product on the field week in and week out.
For as much as the defense gets talked about, Sterlin Gilbert has been a tremendous flop. Just terrible play calls at the worst possible times. I could name 8 different play calls that were simply putrid.
Oh yes it can. 8-4 and he's the coach next year. Now the chances of him going 8-4? Probably 30%. However Mahomes getting hurt today might increase those odds.
