I was at a White Sox/Royals game and I attacked the Royals' first base coach after drunkenly running on to the field.

Strangest: At a 2nd division soccer game here in Costa Rica, there were two people in attendance...me and a friend..... LOL

He sat on one side of the stadium, I sat on the other ....

Ultimately we ended up having to throw the ball back everytime it was kicked outta the field....

His side were the north and east sides, mine, west and south.....

Kinda stupid....

Tampa Stadium......The old "Sombrero".....Took a girl I had been with about a year. She drank some in the past, but I rarely drank, but it was scorching and we were hot as h@ll. Anyhow, we decide we are gonna have some fun, and drink a few beers.....you know, the biggg ones.....
icon_razz.gif

Anyhow, sometime during the game (I dont remember!
icon_eek.gif
), She was lookinnnnnn good to me! ......All of the alchohol I suppose. She was a short~haired blonde with a sexy body in her white shorts and half top. Man that alchohol was working on both of us.Well, we both had to pee, so we make our way down to the bathrooms, and , believe it or not, thats when I talked her into slipping into the mens room. I went in and checked first, and of coures there were plenty of guys in there as there is all game long. But just around the corner as you walk in was an empty handicapp closed in toilet. Sooooooo, I go out, grab her by the hand and tell her "If anyone sees or says anything, you are sick and Im just taking you in to the bathroom to watch over you" We slip in, go in the stall, and have a little fun, but not for long because we get very nervous when we see underneath that the place is filling up with a long line, and right in front of our stall. I tell her Im going out first!
icon_razz.gif
So I slip out, she stays in for a few till I get out of sight, then eventually comes out. She said that guys were looking at her like...."What the heck are you doing in here?!
icon_confused.gif
....and that guys were yelling back at her from behind "hey, hey....come'er....come'er".....It Wasnt that crazy at the time cause we were both rather intoxicated if I must say the least, but, thinking back, man oh man, those were the days!

late 1980s. i win GREAT seats behind home plate to a game at angels' stadium. i get there for BP so i can get a ball. i lean up to the railing - but i don't get within 10 miles of a ball. this sucks! a ball is hit my way - about 10 feet away from me. i've had enough - so i jump over the railing, scoop up the ball, hope back over the railing and haul ass up the stands. jerry reuss played for the angels at the time and i heard him say "come back and we'll give you another ball." no chance! i kept on running up the stands and into the main area so i could get away. about 10 minutes later i emerge at the other end of the park - and there is an usher right where i used to be. my brother saw the whole thing and said he nearly died when he saw me do it. i got away with it - but...

not far behind this: 1984 unlv @ cal state fullerton men's hoops game. titan gym is a really small place - and the fans literally used to be no more than about 3 feet from the court. i had seats int he front row of the student section. the 2nd half is about to begin, and danny tarkanian is about to throw in the ball. jerry - dad - is coaching the team. danny is a player, but i see lois (jerry's butt f*ck ugly wife and danny's mom) sitting behind the team bench. i figure she's gotta do somethng for the team, too. so JUST as the ref is about to hand danny the ball, i get about 6 inches from danny and say, "hey tark, is your mother the water girl!" keep in mind i was 19 at the time, but for one of the few times ever, a player didn't ignore the remark. he turned around and shot me one of the all-time meanest looks i have ever gotten. thank goodness we were in a controlled environment or else who knows what woulda happened.

While sitting in the 3rd row, 2 seats from the the box at an Av's game vs. the Stars....

Darian the F'head Hatcher gets a penalty. My life is flashing before my drunken eyes-I could have never planned on having this opportunity.

A quick splash of beer over the glass to get his attention, as I'm pounding on the glass with one hand & pointing at the scoreboard with the other. He starts freaking out giving me this "come in here" finger wiggle & then figures out that I'm calling him a f'ing pussy.

He completely loses it, freaks out & starts beating on the glass back at me. I was quickly told to get back in my seat, but I had already accomplished the ultimate accomplishment.

Ironically, he took a full beer on top of the head about a minute later, and as Hatcher was looking at me like I had done it, I heard someone behind the box yell "That one's for you, buddy!!!!".

What a game....what a f'ing game!!!!

WINKYDUCK!! I went to see UNLV play Fullerton 2 times at Titan Gym around 1989 when UNLV had the greatest college basketball team ever assembled. I was about 12 or 13 siting with my friend and we were decked out in our finest Rebel gear. Too bad for us we were the only Rebel fans (it seemed like) in the whole place. The Titan fans were ruthless!! making fun of us, pointing in our face whenever Fullerton scored...we had the last laugh though once UNLV won the game..That was the first game I went to. The next year Fullerton was able to beat UNLV at the buzzer!!!!
icon_eek.gif
I will never forget that. The energy in the place was overwhelming. Of course everyone rushed the court like they had just won the NCAA tourney leaving my friend and I alone in the bleachers stunned! Great memories... I love dwatching the games there cuz it was like a high school gym...at halftime we would go down by the bathrooms and you could stand right by this hallway where the visiting teams entered and exited thier locker rooms. We would stick our hands out in hopes for a high five or two which totally made our day if we got a couple.

This falls under the bravest and dumbest thing I've done

Wore my Kevin Johnson jersey to a browns steelers game in pukesburgh. I took shit all game, I dished out very little, cuz im surrounded by thousands of drunk smelly pukesburgh people. As phil dawson sprints onto the field with the last few seconds ticking off and kicks the winning FG as time expires I just stand up hold out my arms and listen to the silence. silence is very gratifying sometimes.

PS

I hate pukesburgh.

8 - i was at that game. as you pointed out - the energy in the gym that night was electric! (in all fairness - UNVL/Fullerton games around that time always were for it was the only time we sold out the place - we even call the seats upstairs "The UNLV Seats" since the only time we opened it up was for that game). i recall we trailed by 3 late in the game. we had the ball down 3. our best 3 point shooter went up for one - and missed. but our best rebounder, john sykes (pyscho as we called him) got the board and kicked it out to cedric ceballos for a 3 - and he missed it - but sykes got another rebound and got it to derek jones who made the first 3 of his CAREER to tie the game and send the game to OT. we trailed late when we fouled stacey augmon down 91-90. i recally how mad we were at the refs because we had fouled unlv a few times earlier and it wasn't called. we finally foul augmon with 4 seconds left. i recall thinking we were doomed - for we took too much time to foul him. augmon made the 1st FT. the 2nd one he missed and we got reallllllllllllly lucky. he missed it short. if he misses it off to the side we are screwed since it woulda taken too much time to get the ball upcourt. but missing it short, sykes got the ball to freshman wayne williams - who hit about 3 1/2-court shots that year already (he hit a 1/2 court shot at the buzzer to beat UOP by 3 earlier on). wayne dribbled, got about 5-feet from the 3-point line and let it fly. the place was STONE SILENT! that is until the ball sailed clean as whistle thru the hoop - and as you describe it - bedlam broke loose. my seat was in the front row almost right in front of where williams let it go. i recall being one of the very first people to get to wayne who was lying on the floor. ceballos beat me to williams and i recall him saying, "yeah, we did it!" what you have to remember is that win broke a 6-year, 16-game losing streak to UNLV so we had a LOT of frustration to vent!

i still have a tape of the game and in the post-game celebration you can see me celebrating. also - the next days OC Register had a picture of the throng - and you can see me as clear as a bell right above the fold in the paper. i still have that one - as well as the student paper - for the SAME pic was in that one, too.

you are right about the bathrooms being near the lockerrooms - and nothing has changed since then. the place is still a dump - but a nicer dump than in the past. i am from around those parts - still am. i have 2 degrees from fullerton and make quite a few baseball games. if we host a regional/super regional i will be there. i figure i have seen well over 400 csuf sporting events in my lifetime. not sure if i should brag about that - or not. i will brag about the february 24, 1983 unlv game - when they came into titan gym 24-0 and #1 in the nation and we beat them 86-78. i was there that night and it is the GREATEST sporting event i have ever attended - and that includes olympic events and G7 of this past world series.

WINKY - Good stuff man! Funny that you mentioned the seats that you only opened up for the UNLV games. Our seats were behind the backboard on the opposite end of the entrance to the Gym. My friends dad always got the tickets for us and I remember thinking...man why are the UNLV fans way up there?? We were surrounded by a sea of orange and blue! The fans were cool though, they gave us a hard time but it was all in good fun!. Since you went there maybe you know the name Terry Payne?? He played quarterback for the football team. good friend of our family. Not sure how much PT he got or how long he went there but I know he was there for a minute.
