With the exception of HogsFan who has a legitimate system with reverse movements and things that actually make sense the CBK thread is being clogged down with peoples systems and its annoying as hell searching through 50 threads to find the 3 or 4 that I like to look at daily. The computer systems and line movement systems are helpful, but its still a matter of who's playin' who...and what their emotional state is. especially in cbb.

What makes that a legitimate system and others not? Mistermj seems pretty successful with his. Like anything, there are good systems and shitty ones. I think there are several successful ones that I have seen here. Samy's CFB totals are another example. Let me ask you a question, do you have a method that you follow when you cap games? If so, then you have a system.

All situtaional angles do is gauge how the public/oddsmaker react to team's previous games and the same traps Vegas uses However, there still needs to be a human factor for things such as injuries, rested players, psychology, etc. etc. Most pure scientific systems do not or cannot acount for this.

The only reliable situational systems I have for college basketball is final home games and conference tournaments. Thus, I play light until that point. There are so many piles of games in NCAAB that it is tough to isolate certain sectors. Right now, I'm researching Pac-10 line movement from Thursday to Saturdays.

It's not the point of discouraging sytems (your is one example of one that works and has a track record to back it) Its un proven systems that are hyped from the get go with no proven history but swade others to get caught up in the rush that s what I have a problem with
