It's not like good starting pitchers are growing on trees or anything.

I considered the over in this game too because the total was just so damn low and santana had been shaky but I went with the Cards instead. Let's hope it cashes.

Carpenter looks like he can go the distance once again today while Johan's pitch count is high, early....giving way to one of the bigger disappointments in baseball....the Mets pen.

the good thing is that Johan's pitch count is way up there so I doubt he lasts the whole game, but the Cards' bats need to awaken as well, lot of missed opportunities.
