Happy Thanksgiving to all. This is my favorite day of the year. I thank God every day for simple things like food and heat and hot water that most people take for granted. Today is the Big Thanks. We are so lucky to have been born in the land of opportunity and freedom. I'll be with family today. About fifteen of us, smiling, happy, and grateful. Happy Thanksgiving to my RX brothers and sisters if there are any these days.

Life springs from the pile of shit which suddenly turned into fertile soil. Smells a lot damned better too.

Thursday:

Houston -3 -112 (@ Det)
Hou 3-7 @ Det 4-6
Have no idea why except I hate Detroit.

Dallas -3 +104 (vs Wash)
3-7 Dal vs 3-7 Wash
Andy Dalton vs Alex Smith. Did we fall back ten years while I slept last night? The Skins are 2-2 in the Division of Stink. Dallas is 1-2. I'll support the team that needs the game just a bit more.

Good luck, turkeys. Don't anybody get slaughtered today. Be grateful that we get lucky once in a while. I am.

Michelangelo,
Good luck today. I should have checked your picks before I posted. Looks like we're opposite on some. Oh well, there's always next week.

Thanks Yiasou and JM, hope you guys had a great Sunday. Good luck, tonight.

Add Monday:

Philly +6' -104 (vs Sea)

Everything says Seattle except urgency. After yesterday the Seahawks sit alone atop the NFC West. Philly has slid to third place a smidge behind the Giants and Washington. Can't visualize the script but I think the Eagle takes down a Hawk tonight.

Nice line there Johnny. I got lucky as hell to cover mine.

Add Wednesday:

Baltimore is a wounded dog limping into Pittsburgh. Robert Griffin III hasn't had a fastball since Obama was elected for the first time. He's the QB. Both their centers are out. A rookie will take over there. Their leading receiver, Willie Snead is out. Their All Pro tight end, Andrews is out. Their lead running back, Ingrahm is out. How are they gonna score? A bunch of their defensive guys are also out or dinged up.

Pitt loses their starting RB, Connors, and a backup tackle. Their big loss will be defensive end, Stephon Tuitt, but with RG III as the Balty QB, I think Pitt can overcome the loss of Tuitt. What's still intact is the Steelers point grabbing passing attack with Big Ben, the least sacked starting QB in the league, and his stable of super receivers, Diontae Johnson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and super rook, Chase Claypool.

It's a big number to lay with Pitt but I don't see how the Ravens stay in this game.

Pitt -10' -104 (vs Balty)
Balty / Pitt Under 42' -104
