Week 3

Thursday:

Atlanta -6 (vs TBy)

Atlanta won this home dome showing with Tampa last year by 31-23 as 6 point favs. They had neither Roddy White nor Julio Jones for the game. Why not tonight when all guns are loaded?

Just in case you think that they could sleep against their junior Division rival, they have the memory of Tampa beating them in Florida, 41-28 in their second meeting last year.

Damn, that was easy on Thursday. Sure wish they were all like that. The slippery ball is bouncing my way thusfar. Lucky.

Sunday eary:

Cincinnati -6' (vs Tenny)
The Big Striped Cats are 10-0 SU and 10-0 ATS in their last 10 at home. Gonna stop right there.

Washington +6 (@ Philly)
Foles looks very human when he doesn't have the time to set up. Who was it that had ten sacks last week?

Oakland +14 (@ New Eng)
Over the past 10 years, teams who start the season with any ATS loss in the first two weeks and are then DD favs in Week 3, are 2-11-1 ATS. (New Eng = LW Ats.)

Minnesota +10' (@ NOr)
see above. (New Orl = LL Ats)

Giants must win. Giants must win. Naw. They must win in four days on Thursday when they have their first Division game. Houston +5 turnover margin. New York Giants -6 turnover margin. Do you think those numbers are misleading or real?

The worst beating the Jags took last year was to these Colts in front of their home fans, 3-37. My guess is that they've had this game circled for a whole year. Opening home game. Perfect

Thanks Ketch. The funny shaped ball has been bouncing my way. Hope Seattle can finish. Tight one there.

Yea, cruising. They are BAD. Duped me.

Sunday night:

Carolina -3 (vs Pit)
I don't know why there is so much Pitt interest. Their offense is OK but their Defense is terrible. But this game is about Carolina in a rare Silhouette game for them. They will come to play and when they come to play I see a romp.

In the last two years this team is 8-1 SU; 7-1-1 ATS at home. Their one loss? In the opening game to Seattle last year 12-7 as 3 popint dogs.

They are also on a 13-1 run. Repeat 13-1 regular season run. NOBODY is better than that. -3? Stealing.

Well the New Yuckers went crazy this week, moving the Giants line from +2 to -2; and now the Jets line from pick to -2', before pulling back to -2.

They were right yesterday as the Gmen humbled 2-0 Houston. But tonight could sour for the New Yuckers.

I think the key to this game will be the Jet secondary and Geno Smith. We know what Cutler and his studs, Marshall, Jeffrey, and Bennett do to ordinary secondaries. Let's see, the Jet secondary has given up two passing TDs to a first start rook on a bad team, David Carr; and three to a struggling Green Bay offense. How many will Cutler throw for. I say 3+.

So the question is if Geno Smith can keep up. Well in his only silhouette game on Thursday night last year his numbers looked like this: 15-35, 214, 0, 3. That's 0 TDs and 3 picks against the very ordinary Patriot secondary of last year in a 10-13 loss.
