Thursday:

Seattle +9 +101 (@ Dal)
This game falls under an angle uncovered by a good handicapping friend of the boards many years ago, Dave, aka Taxi, aka Taxi Driver. He was one of the original angle researchers. We miss ya Dave if you're out there reading in Biloxi or wherever.

Taxi system is now 21-3 since 1992. (Thanks to Riderx for confirming the updated record)

We started right, guys. Good to see you around whiskers. Would love to see Taxi pop his head in. He was one of the best.

Sunday starters:

New England +4' -108 (vs La Ch)
The 4-7 Sunshine and dry Boys from the West Coast are flying into low forties and rain. Does anyone think that they will be pyched to take the field today vs the lowly Pats? The Pats on the other hand are getting a new QB. That alone should lift their spirits.

La Ch / NEn Under 39 -108
Rain, cold, lousy offense.

Indy -1 -110 (@ Tenny
The Titans are a sad sack team. Derrick Henry has lost his big juice. Will Levis was a one game wonder and their D is just a bunch of penalties.

TBy -3' -101 (vs Car)
Tampa has won and covered 6 of the last 7 when playing Carolina. If you think a new coach can make Panthers roar go the other way. Me? I'm thinking a new coach cannot help Bryce Young. They should have fired the GM who traded up with Chicago to get Bryce Young ahead of CJ Stroud.

Tony Boyle's pro stat line is 4 TDs; 11 ints. He's playing against a QB in Ridder whose stat line is 9TDs; 8 ints for his career. Ridder better but nothing to give much confidence. The difference today will be Atlanta's ability to run, run, run.

That Monday night stat for Cincy is not accurate, skoda.

9/25/23 (Monday) Cinci was -3 vs the LA Rams. Cincy won 19-16 for the SU win and ATS Push.

Gonna check further games now. I'll be back.

skoda, I don't know where you got that Cincy is 0-9 on Monday night stat. I've only gone back to 2020 and it's not even close.

In their Monday night games from 2020 through the present Cincy is 2-1 SU and 1-1-1 ATS. That's it. I don't have the time to go back any further. Good luck.

5 yards short of hitting the Double....

covers.....

The Jaguars are 8-7 all-time on Monday night.

The Bengals are trying to snap a long dubious streak of their own. With their loss in Baltimore on Nov. 16, they have dropped 15 straight prime-time games on the road and have lost 26 of 27 night road games.

The Bengals have dropped nine straight Monday night road games, including last season's 32-13 decision in Cleveland on Oct. 31, 2022. Their last win in this category was on Oct. 22, 1990, in Cleveland. The Bengals are 13-26 all-time on Monday night, with a 19-16 home victory against the LA Rams in Week 3.

The Bengals turn to Jake Browning, who is making his second career NFL start after replacing Joe Burrow in Cincinnati's 34-20 loss at Baltimore on Nov. 16.

OK skoda. My apologies. I wasn't researching "road" games exclusively. So your quoted stat may be correct. But what that stat doesn't tell you is how many of those road losses did they cover. And I would prefer the stat to be expanded to include any game being played on an exclusive showcase. That would include Sunday night, Thursday night, and maybe even late season Saturdays. That along with the all important point spread record would give you a useful picture.

My bad for not only looking at "road" games.

All good. I got the much needed win by backing the Bengals.

Good luck, man.
