This will be my last thread on this situation.

Sting without a doubt was part owner of the now defunct Gambler's Avenue.

If it weren't for Royal all players would be stiffed at this time.

What's worse is he is now going on an all out campaign to smear Royal.

Sting is done. I am calling for a total boycott from both advertisers and reader on his site.

I am asking Betpanam, Skybook, Blue Marlin, Players SB, Betsline Sports and Sirbet to pull their ads from his site. By advertising on his site shows you are supporting a scammer that shafted players.

This guy is nothing but a liar and needs to be run out of the industry.

TT:

I don't think a boycott should be necessary, as it is pretty obvious what really is going on right now.

Let me try to summon it up:

Gamblers Avenue was owned by T.A.(Mike Silver), same guy that is the director of photography for CTN.

CTN is owned by Christopher Costigan aka Sting.

By the time BetRoyal bailed out Gamblers Avenue, it was absolutely obvious players were gonna be stiffed.

BetRoyal BAILED OUT Gamblers Avenue.

Sting is now running a smear campaign against Royal and Roberto, arguing it was a buyout and that there were "accounts in escrow". We all know that is BullShit: Gamblers Avenue was flat broke and out of business, at the time that Royal came to the rescue.

There was no money in Mike Silver's Gamblers Av. NETeller account and one or more checks to fund it have bounced.

Shrink:

I don't know what you think of this whole ordeal. But I would not attempt to come to Sting's defense on this one, as Mike Silver has fvcked too many people. Among them, people you call friends. It all seems like Silver and Costigan are close.

I'm not saying that you're indeed coming to Sting's defense; but if you were to do it, your own reputation will be tarnished in the end.

This smear campaign against Royal is a fvcking shame, an insult to bookmakers and a spit to the face of this industry.

I've got an idea:

Those players that do not believe Gamblers Avenue was broke and the Royal's deal was a bail-out: Do not play with Royal and request your funds from Mike Silver.

Those players that are fully aware that Royal stepped in right on time to avoid a massive stiff job, play at Royal and thank them for not letting Mike Silver fvck you guys in the ass.

I think it's pretty simple.

Walk,

Yeah it's pretty obvious what's going on so that's why he should be put out of the offshore biz.

Players got screwed by his book, royal came out with bailout plan and now he is trying to smear them.

Is there absolute truth to this(CC involvement/ownership of GA)? Or is this just opinion from a perspective?

Thanks

Thanks. I have no way of knowing if true or not. I will view evidence as it comes forward. A serious issue this is and one that could result in bad things.

Walk,

I saw your post at his site and next thing I know it was gone.

The truth hurts, doesn't it Sting.

I know, I thought he was gonna care to answer in a reasonable manner. Wrong again. For those of you, who are supporting this smear campaign against Royal:

I just went to gambling911, in order to ask Sting 1 simple question: Why is Christopher running a smear campaign against Royal, if it was indeed Royal who came to his help to bail out Gamblers Avenue players?

He's not fooling ONE single insider and the real question arises:

What will keep him from attepmting such a stunt on people that help him in the future? What guarantees will anybody have to conduct business with him, when we have all seen what his apparent disregard for honorability is?

Which books will want to see their names involved with this type of smear campaign in the future?

What did he do? He deleted the thread and banned me.

To me, it's proof enough that he's got no valid arguments in this smear campaign against Royal.

STING is a disgraceful lying scumbag. And those are his good points. He suckered people who posted at his so called watchdog site into sending money to his bogus sportsbook "Gambler's Avenue". STING the joke touted GA as one of top off shore sportsbooks. Anybody associated with STING's dead site should have their head examined.

I don't think Sting owned part of GA. I'm wondering what Sting had to gain by seeing the rollover dropped if he was an owner?

Sting hated Royal and liked Mike Silver. Simple as that. That fact manifested into Sting trying to do a solid for his buddy whom had seeded some bogus accounts in the GA db. It also gave him the chance to bash and strong arm his hated enemy; Royal.

But in the end there was just a broke book and a book willing to takeover the accounts of the broke book. Every thing elese was a made-for-forum sideshow.

That's all there is to it. All this smear campaign against Royal is just that: a smear campaign.

Buzzsaw, After reading his smug posts on how he WOULD get the rollover ruling reversed, and seeing the emails he sent to Royal promising that he would quit smearing Royal if they would lose the rollover, my guess is ego. A way to gather brownie points in his role in the "rescue" of a disaster that he was involved in creating.

Yes Walk and Minnow. I do agree with your points.

Sting should of torched Mike and jumped in Robertos lap(so to speak) the very first day. His ego talked him into fighting a losing battle and aligning himself with the thief instead of the hero. Bad move.

I'm not vouching for anybody here, but what you posted is not true.

Gamblers Avenue was owned by "Mike Silver".

Odds&Ends was the post up experience of a guy that has a very solid reputation in the credit biz: JJ.

The only connection there was Freddy, who started out working for O&E and then moved on to G.A.

BetJerry's is also a credit operation, run by a guy with friends and enemies like everybody else.

Just like it is.

Minnow and Buzzsaw:

I agree, bad move by Sting indeed.

I have dealt with Sting in the past and I am quite certain that he did not own Gambler's Ave..I know this from a question that I asked him a while back about GA in which he didnt know the answer and had to get back to me..this question would have easily been answered by him if he was a owner of GA...

On a side note, in all my experiences with Sting he has been loyal to his advertisers, but always fair and truthful to answer my questions pertaining about other sportsbooks...And i personally still would trust him with questions in the future...

With that said, Obviously any watchdog site touting GA obviously didnt have a clue about their finances or were so greedy that they didn't care about the players...In the future, I will take anything posted here with a grain of sand!
