I don't know if I agree with that, Number One, you almost have to challenge that play, it's a huge gain was was in by a ****'s hair, and Number Two, the Giants could simply have run an extra play and kicked a point blank field goal(assuming the Giants did not, as in the game, let them score)-and, while that would've left the Giants only needing a field goal, they weren't exactly sitting pretty even then.

I agree, he had no choice but to challenge it.

Yeah, he would have got second guessed if he wouldn't have challenged and it wasn't a catch. If they had one more TO they could have in theory held the Giants to a field goal and got the ball back with about 40-45 seconds left to kick a field goal.

so you're talking about 3 years and two appearances in playoff games, with Brady missing 1 of those seasons and rehabbing a 2nd. They were a mediocre 10-6 during his rehab year, with no expectations of advancing far.

so essentially your argument is because the Jets upset the Patriots in the playoffs last year, that proves they have to cheat to succeed, everything else be damned. OK, whatever

I'll be here in January

Too bad they play the SB in February, and your comments in this thread are, uh, sparse. Another post season, another hideous choke job.!~))!:hahahahah:trx-smly0:laughingb:nohead:

name 2 nfl teams that had better years than New England.

We're not talking about other NFL teams, we're talking about an organization that measures its success or lack thereof by CHAMPIONSHIPS, and, in that regard, for several years running now (not, IMO, coincidentally after they got busted for cheating), they have been, uh, lacking.

I think all NFL teams will tell you their goal is to win a SB. New Engalnd isn't exclusive in that regard.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, yeah, all 32 teams will tell you that's their "goal," but if you really, truly believe that all of them actually BELIEVE that, you probably really DO live in an older brown van, down by the river. Under your ludicrous viewpoint, if Denver had upset the Pats and ultimately lost in the Super Bowl, their attitude would be the same as the Patriots' attitude is right now; see how ridiculous that sounds? We're not talking about Denver or anybody else, we're talking about the odds of favorite to win a weak conference, was lucky to do so, had all the motivation and chances in the world to add another championship, and choked like dogs. Oh, for the want of getting those opponents' films like in years gone bye...:hanging::cryingcry

I'm just glad we didn't have a repeat of the Pittsburgh-Bettis fiasco a few years ago that the NFL staged with a " this ones for Myra " I'm sure the woman was great and all, but enough already..
