Players Offshore cancelled a winning bet (they sent an e-mail) 30 minutes before the game went off which naturally I didn't have a chance to read) on the Alabama game. No reason given and then informed me they were revoking their bonus and sending me my money back. At least they say they will give back the money that I won less the bonus money --- I have been a little reluctant to mention their name since I haven't yet gotten the money from them

you have been even more reluctant to repsond to the other 2 posts you have about this.

IMO

They sent you an email b4 the game. you have no bet. win lose or draw. they sent you your money back minus bonus money you sound like you got the good end of the stick, they could have taken all of it.

Exactly. If they sent you the mail before the game started you have no case.

You got an email before the game kicked off? I may not like it and like it even less when the wager wins but can't call that a stiff job. If they pay and show you the door it's one thing, when they keep your money and show you the door is when there is a problem.

Although I have had an account at P.O. for months, something sounds fishy here? Is there no honor with these books? They sure know how to pick up a phone and call you when they want you to send more money down, but only "email" a cancelled wager, then to take your bonus on top of that, adding injury to insult? When I call my local guy, there's no such thing as cancelling a bet, unless the game doesn't happen. Win lose or draw, we have a deal and I expect him to honor it and he expects the same of me. I wonder if you had lost the bet, would they have said, Oh we made a mistake and the bet still played??

I will have to call Mr. Mike Ross and see what happened here and if this is the case, I will NEVER send them a dime and NEVER refer ANYONE, (well maybe my worst enemy) to them again!! I may even go all out and make sure everyone I know stays as far away from a ripoff joint as possible! What a scam!!

Yes, I agree -- wager booked should stand. As for action taken -- if a book made a "mistake" of accepting such bet they can easily lay off it somewhere else! Credibility would not be lost.
