I know that everyone has sent an email and had it not go through. YOu get a delivery notification failure sent back to you. Lets see this Steve. It would prove your position once and for all. It would show that you tried to tell Revere the plays didnt count and it would show the time that you sent it.

This would solve the problem once and for all.

Can you explain how someone can get mid 5 figures down on a game & the line would stay the same throughout?

egd - who cares whether the line moved? THE PICKS WENT THROUGH AND WERE CONFIRMED.

AFTER the game wins, revere is told the picks are CANCELLED...not paid at a lower number than +120, but CANCELLED...

cmon egd, youre smarter than this little fella

by the way danny, your plan would not work because he could just cut and paste one of those notices, make some nice changs to it, and then cut it here, no?

ID I'm just asking a question based on a ridiculous statement Danny maid which wouldn't be the first by him.

The man took a shot, even his past betting shows he never tried doing this as big as this last time.

Identity,

He said he sent an email off but it turned out to be a bad address. All he has to do is show the notification failure.

I dont belive an email was ever sent and he waited to see the final score before making the decision as to whether the plays would be cancelled or graded as losses.

If he was telling the truth about the email he would have posted the notification failure long ago.

"Revere has been with us since December. He has only made 3 soccer bets with us. In March he bet 500 to win 2500 and then the line moved and he bet 500 to win 2250 On another occasion in March he bet 500 to win 1650 the line moved then he bet 500 to win 1500 Our soccer limits have always been 500 He knows we would not take $40,000 on one game never movithe number"

Get real, he has gone from betting $1000 in total on a soccer game to almost $40,000 & you don't think he was taking a shot!

EGD, nobody takes 40k on soccer, $500. is reasonable, if the player made this bet before at $500. a pop then he knows the limits per bet before the line will get moved, case closed.

Consider the following scenario:

Book sends email to correct player address telling him of cancelled wagers BEFORE GAME STARTS but does not actually cancel the wagers from the system.
Game plays, but this time players bet would have lost the $40,000. Is the book going to honor the email and not charge the player or instead claim the email was sent by mistake or by a supervisor that had no authority to cancel the wagers?
This may be unlikely, but eventually, some sportsbook is going to try the "email was a mistake" excuse.

No is saying that Revere didn't take advantage of the fact that WSEX had no linesman at that hour. But that is NOT THE POINT.
The point is that WSEX can't use lack of a linesman as an excuse not to pay, when they waited until after the game to cancel the wagers. A legit book has to have a linesman on duty or should not be taking overnight bets.
Do you believe they would have refunded player if bet had lost? Get real.

The industry stardard is: Take a bet, pay the bet. And wagers cannot be cancelled AFTER the fact, unless a bad line or upon proven notification.

WSEX took all the bets, therefore has to pay this punter. Cancelling after the fact.. cannot ever be tolerated. Wsex - apparently - has NO PROOF they notified this punter of cancelled wagers.

I guarantee you you, if WSEX were located in Australia or Europe...they would be FORCED to honor this punter's wagers.

I'm not even focusing on the linesmaker not being there. The fact is some of you mentioned that we should look at his past history & go from there.

The facts were presented & he only bet soccer a few times & it was for a nickel at the original line & a nickel at the adjusted price.

There is a big difference between a nickel & almost $40,000. He clearly was taking a shot as no one who wasn't would sit there & make over 100 bets on the same game at different amounts.
