The problem, I'm assuming, is with the WYSIWYG post/reply option which is a default option here. I think making the standard editor the default makes sense, because of the cross-browser problems, but I do see the benefits of the WYSIWYG. It appears that the WYSIWYG editor with vBulletin is Internet Explorer only.
There are companies that make WYSIWYG editors that work across most browser platforums including Netscape/Mozilla. I don't know the economics here, but it might be worth buying a new editor and then having the Rx techs modify the bulletin board system to have the new WYSIWYG editor. Then everyone can use it with no problems.
