I've read the books and I thought they were great. I'd be interested in seeing the movies, although it always seems the movies are never better than the books.
true, but with all signs pointing to an all out effort and with ron howard at the helm, this dark tower series could be huge.....unfortunately, we're looking at probably a minimum of 3 years before the first one comes to life on the big screen.....i'll be pushing 40 for god's sake

At least we will be here, I didn't think I was going to live to see him finish writing the series. I remember reading the first couple of book when I was in Junior high and then having to wait until I was 30 to read the last books

honestly i don't know, i watch so few movies these days i'm out of touch.....i agree, bale would be a good choice, too bad eastwood's not 30 years younger
