Does it matter? I keep hearing people say that OU should be rewarded for playing the harder schedule...

Well, let's look at it.

1 Florida 10 2 80 52 785 744 0.5752 0.04 1 0 0.24 0.20
2 Texas 11 1 75 50 774 705 0.5744 0.08 4 2 0.04 -0.04
3 Arkansas 3 8 73 46 676 731 0.5691 0.12 3 0 0.12 0.00
4 Georgia 9 2 72 47 699 712 0.5685 0.16 5 1 0.08 -0.08
5 Oklahoma 10 1 71 54 730 678 0.5515 0.20 8 3 0.44 0.24
6 Pittsburgh 9 3 72 53 728 741 0.5492 0.24 7 1 0.36 0.12
7 Kansas 5 6 69 50 665 724 0.5461 0.28 6 -1 0.64 0.36
8 Ohio State 9 2 68 52 667 722 0.5378 0.32 17 9 0.52 0.20
9 Virginia 4 7 65 50 661 708 0.5378 0.36 2 -7 0.16 -0.20
10 Oregon St 9 3 72 57 747 782 0.5349 0.40 12 2 0.56 0.16

There is the top 10 S.O.S. teams in NCAA Football this year.

Notice Texas Tech (12) is missing from the list.

You will also notice that USC is not on this list either, in fact.. they are number 49!

What better way to tout your "Best team in the nation" comments than to back it up with a tough schedule... wait a minute.. HAHAHAHA

Not "your" as in you UNO .. just USC backers in general. That sounded like a personal attack when I read it. Sorry man.

OU will jump Texas in strength of schedule if they beat OSU tonight.SOS doesn't mean anything until the last game has been played.

SOS is not really that strong of an issue in the BCS. If Texas gets jumped, it is the system's fault. You should know that the team which loses earliest gets the second chance. Plus Texas got lucky & are the 3rd best team in the Big 12.

On a neutral field!

If the UT v Tech game was in Austin we wouldn't be having this conversation 'cause everyone would be looking up at the #1 Horns and it would all be about who is coming out of the SEC to to play them for the title.

got lucky... brilliant. win by 10 on a neutral field against the number one team in the nation and then lose at the last second on the road to the third best team in the conference.

lucky... i love it when someone with no sense chimes in.

How do you figure? Got Lucky?

Texas beat OU on a neutral field, not by a fluke play, not by a last second FG but by 2 possesions. Texas went to Lubbock and lost on a last second play after playing the worst half of ball they had played all season. (and if the true freshman comes up with that INT on the final deive UT runs out the clock and is a unanmous #1). I would say Tech was the lucky team.

OU laid the beat down on Tech @ home in Norman and had an inside knowledge of the Tech offense. Everyone could see the beat down coming leading up to the game. OU 52-2 @ home going into the Tech game, yeah that's not luck that the game wasn't in Lubbock.

The brilliance is how homers like you continue to ignore how you were the benefit of horrible officiating that continued drives that had stalled. Those drives resulted in points yet since that doesn't benefit your homer viewpoint, it gets swept under the rug. Typical....

Sorry you don't have a clue & think Texas is really better than Oklahoma. With your line of thinking if lets say Iowa State upset Texas due to bad calls or benefiting from turnovers, that they would clearly be better than them. However anyone with a clue would know that is not the case at all. The scoreboard does not always tell the story.

As far as Tech is concerned, you were lucky they let you back in the game as for quite awhile you couldn't do shit against them.

Bye bye Longhorns, you are screwed & justice will prevail.

They are only top 10 b/c they had USC this year while Penn State and Michigan State had decent records.

USC not up there b/c the Pac 10 is a JV conference.

Funny how somebody from New York thinks he knows SHIT about football...the fact is Texas beat Oklahoma on a neutral field...IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE TO BE SAID ABOUT WHOS BETTER DUMBASS? PS...the majority of players in Oklahoma are from Texas anyways there is no "homer" talk here as in Dallas most are OU fans anyway, but why would your ignorant ass know that?:bunnies:

The usual signs of someone reaching to express their point. The first sign is use of words to curse out someone. The second sign is to either shout with caps or use bold. Thankfully you made sure that both came into play.

If you are going to insult me, at least use know how to write who is. I'd take my knowledge of football over idiots like you any day.

It does not matter though as Texas isn't winning shit this year. So enjoy your non title bowl game this year.
