I'd be surprised to see LA score a run in this game. I'd take the
under in a heartbeat if I had any idea how well Alvarez will pitch.
Clement is hot as can be, LA isn't hitting, and the wind is blowing
in pretty heavily at Wrigley. CHC hits lefties great so Alvarez may
struggle somewhat. Either way, if Clement gives up a run in this
game I'd be surprised.

I am not going to say Jake is good in the other sports but hard to knock him much in bases. He was up over 17 units here this year and 29 or so last year. I'm not defending him, hell I get on his ass all the time but the kid knows baseball. It's foolish to take that away from him.

If he's smart he works on the other sports and brings them up to his baseball level. Outside of Braveheart that used to post here he's probably got as much raw talent as any of the kids here, just the wrong attitude. Instead of trying to force people to believe how good you are spend time making it happen. Nothing in the world is more common than unrealized potential.

It plain and simple - the guy gave a warning about a tout - someone posted his record in three sports - there is a negative sign in front of all three - HE SUCKS and it should be a crime for him to charge money - he is part of the new more advanced scammers I have seen - here is what they do: they come to a forum and post picks, they either try to draw alot of attention to themselves (a.k.a. Rodfather) or they have good run for a limited time, usually less than one season (a guy named NDN Fan at MJ's) or they lose - if they are able to win or if they are sucessful in gathering a following guess what? the picks eventually cost - guess what? the picks will eventually lose and their scam worked. They are not lying about their records or alleging ridiculous percentages but it is still a SCAM - anyone who charges for picks that consistently loses is a scammer and a scumbag that needs to get a real job - this guy is down in ALL three sports but I am sure he is still taking in new money - he obviously has no effing clue what he is doing.

On a different note, I have been waiting for Panther to charge for his picks. He could easily start a service - he has a large following and he has never gotten buried and he in fact seems to do pretty well especially when he posts so many plays - I have respect for him not following the Fraudfather down this path of advanced scamming.

Atleast Jake gives analysis, and for the most part his baseball analysis is quite logical and proven ver good in baseball...
Now dogball on the other hand is a guy who couldn`t tell you how far away first base is from homeplate...Simply put he buys picks elsewhere and sells them (or tries to) as his own, lol, which is way worse IMO...Even more amazing is how dogball would still give his picks away FREE OF CHARGE right here in the forum, the SAME PICKS HE WAS SELLING TO SUCKERS...I asked him one time..."dog how can you give the picks free to everyone and sell them to people all at the same time"? his response

"Oh I put different unit values on them and the customers go for it" !!??!?!? thats the mentality of this guy,lol...never one ounce of analysis , just a copy and paste crook is what dogball is...STAY FAR AWAY FROM DOGBALL, Thats what this topic shout have said...This guy had one good season and was so concerned about having a winning record posted, (fighting anyone who questioned his record) all so he could spin it into a tout business....He has since been exposed and has taken his customers money this baseball season and has lost alot! Also tried to get out paying 10k to a credit shop saying "he threw the money away because he thought he was getting stiffed when he was up on them earlier" he lost 10 k in a week then tried to excuse his way out of paying,lol...the guy has excuses for everything....Stay far away from touts period..Jake has a nice opinion in baseball though, and its obvious unlike dogball that Jake atleast knows sports,lol...

Up 25+ units in baseball this year as tracked by TRK. I thought they didn't allow bashing in the this forum but I guess the mods decided to make an exception for my stalker raiders and his "friend." Very clever of raiders to leave out the 5 units I won in the bowls, the 8 I won in NFL preseason last year, and and 5 or so I won in NCAAB. Add that to the 34 I won last season in MLB (all tracked here) and the 17 or so I was up this year before I left the challenge, it doesn't look so bad does it? Furthermore, I have no intentions to sell picks. I've posted them free all MLB season. Thanks for warning people about buying picks that aren't for sale.

So Tu Li Ming registeres just 2 weeks ago with no knowledge of me or this forum at all.

His first topic was "Is this sports forum serious or another foolish north american joke website?" and his awe-inspiring second post was "**** you. Typical arrogant american bastard." Sometime in those two weeks he has decided that people should stay away from buying my picks even though they are free. This is without me posting anything about it, and not even posting any picks other than a few preseason NFL with writeups, which brings me to the question, any ideas who this guy is ghosting for?

Mods, why not just delete the ghost?

I don't think the mods should delete his post - they are saving readers and posters money - or they could delete the post and more people will send you money and then lose playing your guesses. Do one of two things: a) bet bigger and make up for all the money you SCAM from suckers or b) try getting a real job.

Yes. I pretend to handicap my games. By using the patented "Jake Thompson Pretend Method of Capping" I have somehow amassed nearly 60 units in 1.7 MLB seasons betting 1 unit a game. How do I do it? My dartboard must be extremely lucky, and thank god my grandma has enough time to make up the writeups in between church and sleep. I gotta run to the store right now, get some new dart tips so I can get today's picks up.
