Joe......Interesting that you make mention of the odd 5 or 5.5 line.
I have noticed this is a very queer number. correct me if I am wrong but isn't it best to play the dog when you see this number? Not blindly of course but rather a play the dog if you like the match up or a no play if you lean to the favorite.

Funny you mention the "5" point line. It's a line that doesn't make sense. I did a study on it years ago, and the faves usually covered the spread. This week it didn't work, but I haven't checked it for the whole year.
