Hey, I like Alabama. I spent most of my growing up years heare, from 10 to 17, and spend around 3 months a year here now. While it's true that our unofficial state motto is "Thank God for Mississippi" (she keeps us holding at a steady #49 in all the rankings) there is much to love.

ok,
we'll call all the places in the world W
we'll call me current list of places L1
we'll call the new list of places L2

W-L1 = L2

Ok, problem solved. For the folks in Alabama this is like saying take your family - your sister and that equals your family without your sister*

W'all now, Lander, how about transplants who've moved there from the 'good' list? Do they immediately qualify, is there a set waiting period in which if they leave you'll judge them smart enough to have gotten out and don't qualify, etc?

In order to properly proceed in this world according to your prejudices, er, preferences, I need an accurate and comprehensive set of rules and guidelines from you, otherwise I run the risk of running afoul of them and being therefore judged stoopid too - so post 'em already

Great idea Jazz. The theory behind L3 Elistist membership is based on fact. Therefore we will not have a vote which will in turn turn political, which undisputably will turn into a circle jerk or lies, agendas and special interest kickbacks. Instead, fact will be bases on mathmatics because there is no greater truth than math (just ask a bookie

).

Qualification for entry into L3E
1. 51% or your state must derive from a family tree, not a family wreath (like Alabama)
2. 51% of your state's residents must be literate.

Sorry sir, I cannot take direction from an illiterate - I've highlighted the embarrassing gaffes above. Move to Kansas and you'll get a top-notch edumachasun

What you Morons fail to realize is the AG works off of complaints, players get stiffed or scammed by false advertising and then complain to the attorney general. The books bring this on them own selves.

Why are murder investigations so difficult in Alabama? No dental records and all the DNA is the same. This joke in no way reflects the poster's true opinion of Alabama.

I would love to hear this one go to court. After all if you drive to Mississippi and gamble and tell everyone you had a great way and by the way the Beau Rivage has great blackjack table, would that be a crime??? I don't think so.

I know a guy who has some contacts in the bookie world of the South and he says Alabama and Auburn fans are the biggest bettors down there by far. It is not even close in the SEC or anywhere down South, Alabama people bet their teams hard every week.

The most brilliant bookmakers are from Alabama. We don't need to name names, but anyone with a brain knows who they are. They make the sharpest New York jews look pedestrian.
