its alot of fun, you should give it a try. basically draft a guy at every position and a few bench players and try to get the most stats each week vs your opponent. each week 11 pts or so are up for grabs (hits, rbi's, walks, wins, strike outs, saves etc). different opponent each week

Just try out a public league for free one year and you can kind of learn on the go. I wouldn't play in a $$ baseball league in your first year. Lot tougher and more savvy moves required than in something like football. Also easy to lose focus after a bad start

A couple of us warned the mods what this guy was all about BEFORE people got scammed but they chose to do nothing.

A couple of us warned the mods what this guy was all about BEFORE people got scammed but they chose to do nothing.

Response I got back on 4-2-11 from a mod

well as u well know, the RX tries to steer clear of this stuff...as its really hard for us to police what people do in their own lives....

Its a main reason why we always try to keep posters from joining stuff like this....

If u wanted to start a thread in rubber room, asking mlink what happened in the league, and why he changed his name, it might get a discussion going.....and might be a way to alert other posters...but it would have to be in the rubber room....

We simply dont want all that kind of drama in the main room......i understand your concern, but hopefully you understand why its kinda hard for us to really do anything, since it wasnt a sanctioned RX contest/league...

You can always ask Wil if u think he'll give you a different response, but im just giving the best advice i can, from going down this road before with others......

best of luck, and sorry you got taken , so to speak...

We wound up only out $75 but wanted to save others from getting scammed
