I wouldn't be surprised to see it slammed at -10 come Friday. The weather conditions actually favor Stanford's run attack more than Wazzu's air game. But… that being said, it could be one of those road letdown games where Stanford is just happy to get the win by any margin.

Very true, Stanford never plays with or for style points, just does their thing and captures W's.

personally I f'ing hate playing against teams going into Pullman because that is such a weird place to play. It's out in the middle of nowhere; the crowd is pretty eccentric and their air attack has the ability to keep games close.

However, I'm goin with Stanford here because I just don't see wazoo and that slender front seven being able to stop stanfords mammoth rushing attack. Stanford zone defense against the pass is phenomenal and very tough to beat. Allowing Stanford to drop 7-8 guys every play is asking for a blowout because they get pressure on people all the time with 3 guys anyway. Wazoo may score once or twice but I can't honestly see this game being close. Stanford will sit on the football and score basically every drive with 5+ min scoring drives. If wazoo craps out on a couple drives and punts or turns it over on downs it's game over. Stanford will slowly but surely pull away and wins by at least 14.

Its my opinion that a lot of people are overreacting to wazoo' ability to score.... No one is taking into account their horrendous defense. Does anyone honestly think they can stop Stanford lol??? Stanford can sure stop them... In order to cover this game, as a wazoo backer you're basically counting on wazoo scoring every single drive, forcing 4-5 punts and 1-2 turnovers.....highly unlikely all those happen.

ill take the trees please

I'm strongly considering Stanford too, especially at a reasonable -10. I think the bettors nationwide are expecting WSU to continue to improve, but I don't see it. With wet and windy conditions, Stanford should be able to run all day. Wazzu's running game is improved from last year, but only slightly from what I've seen. Mostly because defenses are having to respect their pass game more this year. The Cougs have not really faced a quality defense yet this year.

Usually when a line changes like this, it a hmmmmmmmm situation, to see what's going on. Hopefully Stanford backers are not missing something. It happens but I don't see an upset in the making or a close game. I'm still on Stanford myself.
Good luck to all.
