How do you not have your team ready for the onside kick...then you score with 2:20 left and don't go for 2, up 12...?

I thought you had to be smart to go to Stanford ! The players just watched the onside kick go to K state. Mccafrey saved my ass at -12.5

They played to protect the lead. Smh Tho I got a push, they should have covered. Not expecting for that onside kick was simply stupid!

This whole game was "odd" lol.... I'm not citing a fix by any means, I backed Stanford -16 and -14, I just thought the play calling was ATROCIOUS... Their qb was money all game on intermediate routes and curls and they just kept running mccaffrey on first down to the tune of 1 yard or a loss lol...k state played well defensively but Stanford did nothing but let them come straight downhill on first down every play.... The lack of onside kick preparation was befuddling considering how "smart" and well coached Stanford is... K states offense was god awful and Stanford allowed I think 3 huge fourth down conversions right?!?! I mean what in the actual hell lol. Hey I'll take my losses but that game was just weird all the way from start to finish. I honestly felt like that game should have been 41-20, k state didn't catch a couple calls either. Oh well, onto the next one, but in definitely scratching my head. Hopefully Stanford keeps their play calling just like that against Oregon and Washington so the ducks have a shot at being pac 12 north division champs lol

The late K state td was the old lob it to the corner play. That crap hardly ever works and it was a perfect pass which is what that play takes. Books got middled hard on that game !

Stanford looked like they were easing into season and not wanting either qb to have to do too much right away. Almost like a pre season game. The punt returns being called back and the previous poster mentioned onside kick screw up made game seem closer than it really was. Hate to be those guys in practice this week. A straight up Stanford win was all I needed in the game and it was never in question. They should have won by at least 20 if not for special teams.

Easy KSU cover. Squares were all over Stanford early and often, line went as high as -17.

Then the sharps swooped in and absolutely hammered the game all the way down to a low of -12, passing several key numbers without hesitation.

95% of Stanford backers got in anywhere from -14 to -17 because no one (outside of some last minute insignificant square money) was betting Stanford after it dipped below 2 TD's.

Wasn't a fix question...was amazed that a team isn't ready for an onside kick with 4 minutes left up more than 10...and not going for 2 up 12 with 2:30 left in the 4th. Should have won easily...but I like the logical attemp at a win when my RB gets a breakaway TD...

Uh, Stanford was never covering once and yes the line DID hit -17. It opened for unlimited action at -16.5 across the board in late July/early August and was quickly popped to -17.

Any other questions?

To all the ppl saying Stanford should have gone for 2 when up 12. Please stop gambling! That is just wishful thinking on your part cause you had -14. But don't say comments that make no sense, especially blaming Shaw for it, blame yourself cause you can't think or add and just want your bet to push...lol

Unless you don't have a kicker, you kick the PAT in that situation 100% of the time.

You sir, wizard, are an idiot and know nothing about football. 13 means nothing. You do not have time with 2:30 to score a TD and kick 2 FGs. You do have time to score a TD and then kick an onside kick and throw to the end zone...it has happened many times. You saying that the extra point in that situation is the play is idiotic and proves you know nothing "John snow." I did have 13.5, but I wasn't crying about my loss...I was just noting the horrible coaching job/decisions.

Keep running your ignorant mouth...bet you don't have the stones to back up your ridiculous statements.i'll put 10k up in escrow with betallsports and we'll run a poll to see if it i's mathmatically correct to go for 2 with 2:30 remaining in the 4th up 12 points,or not...put your money where your mouth is or shut it.
