Stands in these first round NCAA games look about as filled as a Sixers/Nets game

Numerous reasons. Field of 64 should actually be a field of 32. Unknown players, one and done's. Tickets too expensive. Starting times while people are at work. Airing every game on TV unlike old days where CBS jumped from game to game. Fans knowing they might only see last five minutes will attend game in person. Tournament might make a ton of money for NCAA but it's an embarrassment to see 1/2 filled arenas.

You couldnt pay me to go. Not near as much fun as hanging with some buddys at a bar watching. The broadcast are awesome how they all can be seen. Cant do that at a game.

Who cares how many people go? Why would this influence your enjoyment on TV?

Like I said before. Tough to enjoy these games. 3 point line is everything. Ttech missed layup to go up 2.....butler back to back 3's and up 6. Just annoys me. Move line back to NBA range.....make it a tough shot.

Classic white vs black game in Baylor vs Yale. Intelligent vs dumb. Patient vs not patient. Length vs non length.

Yet the whites are right there. Just better basketball players but not many whites are 6'8" and can handle the ball. That's the difference in Baylor vs Yale.

A typical black that will never play in the NBA is tall, quick, stupid, poor shot and even poorer shot selection

Yale will likely win this game at the end by being smarter and being better shooters.

Notice how blacks panic easily and try to coast on athleticism alone?

Just watch Yale vs Baylor. None of these guys are NBA players

What the fuck are you babbling about. Yale has a few 50 percent foul shooters.....one white guy that shot an airball from ft line in crunch time.

Yale is a quality team and it isn't just because they are smart. They have players on that team. You do realize that Baylor would beat Harvard and Princeton by 20 points.....even though they are smart white kids.

It's funny to watch you pick one game and act like its the norm. Did you see UNLV beat up on smart, white Duke in national title game years back? By 30 points.

you sound real dumb when you say this kind of shit.

Maybe just the better coached team wins? Yale will get their ass beat by a bunch of "blacks" soon. Dont understand what color of skin has to do with it.

REPORTER: How does Yale out-rebound Baylor?
PRINCE: Um, you go up and grab the ball off the rim when it comes off, and then you grab it with two hands, and you come down with it. And that's considered a rebound. So they got more of those than we did.

It's easy to see why Prince was a little miffed at the question. For one thing, he had already had an emotionally trying day after getting into a shoving match with teammate Rico Gathers early in the second half. Plus, Prince was also far and away Baylor's best performer on the day, scoring a team-high 28 points on 12-of-24 shooting with three assists and, yes, four rebounds. It must be difficult to end your college career under such circumstances.

For that matter, Baylor wasn't even that bad on the boards. They grabbed 14 offensive rebounds compared to 27 defensive rebounds for Yale, a fairly good ratio. They were only out-rebounded by the less athletic side because of the large difference in field goal percentage — 44.1 percent for Baylor vs. 53.1 percent for Yale.

Whatever the case, at least basketball fans now have a readymade explanation for the art of rebounding.

Although some coaches may have wished Prince put a line in there about the importance of boxing out. Fundamentals of the game.
