does anyone else think that this team is not worthy of a tournament bid? They just are not very good with a struggling patty mills... They have a lot of bad losses, even with Patty out, that should keep them out of the tournament. Patty isn't the same guy he was before the injury and this team may be worse with him in there.. I just don't see anyway that they get into the tournament, yet people are saying that they are going to be a tournament team.. i don't get it.
I think getting blown out in your conference tournament should be a huge black eye with regards to a team's tournament resume. To lay an egg with so much on the line I'd rather see the bid go to someone else. For instance if it comes down to Illinois St., St. Mary's, and Creighton. I think Illinois St. is the most deserving team because of how they played when it mattered the most.
st marys will be in and most likely win a game or two. they lost to a top 5 team, relax. gonzaga is for real and is better than oklahoma or louisville. if pat mills never gets hurt st marys would have won the WCC regular season title and would have been a great game tonight. he did though, and they are still good enough to be in the tournament.
