Fresno 1st half here. Very veteran team back vs a team that lost most of their players from last year.

actually st marys retured 4 starters from last year, they are always good at home. It is possible that fresno may cover in the first half but i wouldnt put my money on them in the game... Mary's will continue right where they left off from last year

What? The Gaels lose only Golden from last year and his replacement Steindl is already better as a true frosh. Gaels have also added Hunter(redshirted jr. year) and Ben Allen transfer from Indiana.

This is a tough game to cap imo because of the way Bennett substitutes. Last year RB wasn't set on a rotation by the time conf. play started. When Mills sits the Gaels obviously slow down but their still alright if their 2 Hughes slides over to the point. When McConnel plays the 1 the Gaels are a different team and will chew way more clock. Basically I'd be real worried about A Fresno backdoor for the game.

On the other hand if RB tries to make an impression for his Gaels on rare appearance on ESPN(I know 2 est.) and sticks with Mills for the entire 1st running the break with the Americans and kicking out to the other aussies for quick 3's than the Gaels score 45-50. That would be my play 1st half over 64.

Fresno, actually plays a faster quicker tempo than St. Mary's. However, SMU has the better players and particularly at guard play, which will be a huge edge.
