St Louis bracket

I gurantee...there aren't 10 people in america right now who have that St Louis bracket as it turned out. At least not that they will admit to having made before Thursday.

What a joke that region turned out to be.

Either Kansas or Georgia Tech should win it, hell with that seemingly the case it will turn out to be Nevada vs UAB for the final four.

Kinda disgusting results if you ask me.

The region make look like a joke to some, imo. it is a result of the dreaded "parity" that has encompassed college basketball today. Look at the controversey surrunding the tournament seedings. At the risk of sounding hind-sighted, there were probably between 15 and 20 teams good enough to win this tournament. The very closeness of the games is testement to the amount of parity the game has found itself in. The reason (again only imo.) is the incredible talent pool CBB has to draw from. Thousands of high schools where literally millions of young atheletes compete, many, or at least the best anyway, wanting to play at the next level, not to mention foreign players. Watching UAB play Kentucky for example it was hard to tell which team was seeded higher.

Losing the Washington game friday night was REAL tough for me personally, set me up for a terribly rough weekend afterwards. Cashing that Washington ticket would have made for a lot easier decisions the rest of the way, but would have made the losses more tolerable..

That was one hell of a game though! 102-100 in regulation.

If you didn't pick Kentucky to make it to San Antonio it sets up well for you. In my pool of 76 only 7 don't have them moving on so it works out well for me with G Tech. If only they can get it done I will be in great shape as the other 6 have Kansas or Gonzaga there. I am sitting well with Pitt too, I can't believe only 16 people had them here, almost everyone fell for the "home court" trap with Wisconsin I guess.

I am essentially in first place for now, but I blew it with Stanford falling out as I had them winning the title. If they had held on I would be easily in front, but now I have to hope some obscure team wins the title to have a chance.

i made a pretty big future bet on oklahoma state to win it all @ 20-1 back in mid-february. kentucky going down will make it easier for them to get to the finals...assuming they can get by pitt and the wake/st.joes winner.

They still have the toughest road left of any of the top 10 teams. They didn't get handed a gift like UConn got. I don't even know who we could say got a gift in St. Louis, all four teams could get the spot there.
