I am pounding the living shit out of Calgary next Saturday night at home. It has nothing to do with tonights game or anything like that I dont necessarily think the Riders are over-rated or hate them but honestly just think this is the perfect spot for the Riders to lose their first game of the season. I remember last year the Riders went into Calgary as 3 point underdogs and got blown out something like 49-14 and that Riders team was 100 times better. Saskatchewan isnt half as good as that team and the Stamps look twice as good this year. No John Chick, no Andy Fantuz (I would assume) and who knows which QB will even start. Also the Riders winning tonight should benefit a lower line that what would have been higher should they have lost. I expect about a CGY-3, -4 type line and no fucking around play the moneyline on the Stamps next week will be the best spot play of the season. Please post the line in here as soon as one is seen for me thanks
Most books post them Monday night or Tuesday but there are a few people on here who can find them on Monday morning and when they do can you please post the line in here I am dying to know what it is and also I know it will rise so get down on it ASAP. Either way take moneyline Stamps win this game just hope its -150 or lower.
I really hope not. Dont know how they can make a line that high on an undefeated team and if they do then they are aware of what i am thinking. But to be unbiased if the line is that high the public action will be too lopsided on the Riders therefore I think it will be lower or at least "should" be lower.
the line will depend alot on who the starter for the riders is this week. with jyles i think a -6 calgary line would seem fair. fantuz, chick, flick, durant, crandell ( possibly ) are all out for the riders so even though they are 5 - 0 anmd deserve that respect they are going on the road to play a healthy calgary team minus some of their best players and likely with a 3rd string QB
I totally understand and agree with what you are saying for sure man. My only point is that if oddsmakers actually come out with a line of 6 against a team who is undefeated regardless of the injuries they have they are gonna get complete and total lopsided action on the Riders plus the 6. We both know the goal of oddsmakers is to come out with a line that is not what the team shoud win by but a line that will create equal sided action (with them taking the juice) and if its that high it will not be equal. WAY too high.
